The office does not answer phone calls or emails. Other tenants pose a threat to the safety of all and yet management does nothing despite countless complaints and visits from the fire department. I could understand if I was paying $1500 for an apartment for terrible customer service, maintenance, and overall organization. However rent is far too high for this kind of treatment. Extremely displeased with management. I strongly advise other to stay away from these apartments. Save yourself stress and frustration and live somewhere else.

Lots of must-do paperwork, always inconsistent communications, bad attitude, and at least $300 cleaning fee you have to pay when moving out.
Worst they charge $700 for replacing carpet even though it could be cleaned. We spent 2 days cleaning the room and we cleaned tough stains ourselves and left easy cleaning part while they just don't bother cleaning it and they like to replace carpet. So don't believe those cleaning lie and don't waste time cleaning your room and be prepared to be charged unbelievable move out fee even if you leave

Vue Alameda, or I guess under a new name Rica Vista has been amazing. It is quiet and the community there is really nice. The management cleans and maintains the plaza areas everyday. The leasing office is also super friendly and receptive to any repair requests! I highly recommend checking it out! If we didn't have to move out due to commuting reasons, we probably would have stayed there for as long as possible.

Lived there for just under 10 years. A few years ago Pinnacle bought the property and began improvements inside and out, mainly only on empty units. The only improvements that were done for existing residents were dual pane windows and patio doors, but not every unit has them yet, even 2 years later. Rents have been raised exponentially for new rentals, plus now you pay for everything, instead of just gas. Before we moved there was almost half of the units still empty, as asking for well over $2,000 plus all utilities for a 1 bedroom is rediculous. We had a serious mold issue in February of 2019

This is my 4th time living in the Alameda over the past 10 years; I really need to stop leaving the island : ) My wife and I just spent 1.5years in the middle of the mayhem in San Francisco and have only been here at Vue for a few months, but our stress has already decreased ASTRONOMICALLY. The move in process, which includes everything from our first call to Carneala, to move in day, to the quick repair of the drain by Betto, new window installation - everything has been easy, professional and all done with care. For their customer service. The most recent manager... young male is awesome! Had a nice tour and everything. The lady in the leasing office is very helpful and goes beyond what you are asking. Offers other options versus you having to ask. Great customer service.

Vue alameda is a wonderful place to leave. Especially if you have family. For your information only this is under new management. And these people are amazing especially the leasing office stuff, they're very helpful with positive attitude. Have a wonderful maintenance team and they responds very fast if you have any maintenance issues. I'm leaving here around 5+ year so I know exactly what the change.It's pretty safe inside because It's gated community. So to get into the apartment complex you have to have a key.

This is the WORST property ever.
Unsecured property-there is a gate... it stays open weeks at a time
The interior doors are often unlocked especially leading in from parking lot (secured...not)
Woke up this morning... NO running water in the building! Did they not pay the water bill??????
Unprofessional... poor quality. I feel like at anytime I could go through the floor. I hear my neighbors every move and even when they snore.

I am not being biased here, but I would have leverage for someone who has lived here since November of 2004. In my 13 plus years, I have seen probably 3 different management groups. Sue and Chuck did a really nice job welcoming my family here back in 04. Keisha was really nice lady who held down the fort as the property manager in recent years, along with staff members Joe, Walter, Mary, and others.
I know there was a lot of flack that she and the staff took at the time for the conditions that escalated a few years ago, but it isn't on her. It goes to upper management.

I'm very happy living in View apartments. It's an entirely different living experience with the new management company. Maintenance requests are addressed quickly and professionally. I had a leaky window for years, and previous management told me nothing could be done. Within a short period of time of the new management company taking over, they gave me all new windows and a new patio door, which are also soundproof. Now I no longer hear the noise from the school next door. The walls are thick, so you also don't hear noise from your neighbors. The staff are friendly, responsive

This management co. is really getting on my nerves. I have a parking permit for 2 stalls. They told a new resident that this is there stall now. I sent them a letter with a picture of both of my permits and they said they can't find it. I guess I break into cars and steal permits. They only been here for 3 months. One side of my of my room electrical outlet is not working since they did construction on the unit next to mines. The heater hasn't been working for 3 months after I asked them to fix it. Hallway carpet looks like it belong in the projects. I'm ranting about there BS because

This apartment complex is the worst place I have ever lived! And I have lived in six different states. It was bad enough that black mold kept me sick the whole time I lived there and my apartment was robbed so many times I didn't have any jewelry when I left, my car's tires were flattened several times but in the end.......They only kept $250.00 of my $1000.00 deposit when I left! Also when I lived there the old manager had retired and continued to live on the property so when rent checks went to her apartment they just charged everyone $70.00 for a late fee. No elevators have ever worked
