3030 Chapman, is just across the estuary from Alameda in the heart of Oakland's creative Jingletown neighborhood. These Oakland apartment homes for rent offer a variety of floorplans with great natural light, stainless-steel appliances, quartz stone countertops, and individual washer and dryers. Many units have views of the water or private balconies.
Jingletown is very walkable and bikeable. The Fruitvale BART station is less than a 10-minute walk so you can be in San Francisco in less than 30 minutes. Oakland offers the best in dining, creativity, shopping, music and performances. 3030 Chapman is a Madison Park community.

Pros
Competitive rent
New
Secluded
Cons
Extremely loud cargo train and bart nearby
Monthly theft occurrences between the garage and mail room which is exposed to sidewalk traffic
Un-responsive once you move in and very slow to resolve complaints that they are responsible for resolving, even OPD said so.
They don't have a hold on their rent portal and issues often occur when communicating through the rent portal.

3030 Chapman is an Excellent Place to call Home. From there kind an responsive management staff to there well maintained an manicured property. You cant go wrong making 3030 Chapman your future home.
A personal note: When I was going through personal hardship I reached out to the property manager K. Harris
about my situation an he went above an beyond to ease my worries and worked with me to keep me in my residence.
A rare find in today's standard of just wanting that bottom number.
I plan to be a part of the 3030 Chapman community for some time.

This has been the most community felt experience in Oakland. Michelle - property manager and Kevin - manager were a delight to work with. They are responsive, supportive and have hugely made the opening on @Made2gather - our new cooking school and social entrepreneurs hub a successful transition.
We are thrilled to be living in this complex and can't wait for the next chapter. Thank you to both of you we literally could not have done it without you.

DON'T LIVE HERE for following reasons:
(Someone recently got shot in the head 2 blocks down)
1. Horrible terrible management (onsite property manager lives 2 blocks down at 401 Derby ave who will ignore your concern with attitudes)
2. lots of break-ins
3. New appliances are breaking all the time
4. 2 murder cases recently and robbery all the time in the neighborhood
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.eastbaytimes.com/2018/02/16/man-fatally-shot-in-east-oakland-last-week-identified/amp/
5. Way too expensive for services they don't provide
