Growing up in small town Rock Island Illinois, Dr. Sami Diab went on to pursue his love for computers and graduated from the University of Illinois College of Engineering where he obtained a Bachelor's of Computer Engineering. He then earned both his Bachelors of Dental Sciences degree and Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry.
Dental radiographs (often called x-rays) are an important part of your dental care. A dental radiograph gives your dentist a picture of your hard tissues (teeth and bones) and the soft tissues that surround your teeth and jawbones.
For example, dental radiographs may help your dentist see caries (tooth decay) that develops between the teeth or under restorations (fillings); diseases in the bone; periodontal (gum) disease; infections that develop under your gums; some types of tumors.Dental radiographs can alert your dentist to changes in your hard and soft tissues.

The first thing we will check during the exam is your face and neck. Checking visually we will look for any abnormalities such as lumps, bumps, or swelling. Checking inside your mouth is next on the agenda. During this part of the checkup we will be looking for any abnormalities in the soft tissue, such as discolorations or ulcers on your lips, gums, tongue, palette, and cheeks.
A bridge is used to replace one or more missing teeth in your mouth. Bridges are fixed, in that they are cemented on the supporting teeth or in some cases, fixed on an implant that has been placed next to the missing teeth. Replacing the missing teeth will restore your ability to properly chew and speak besides its cosmetic advantages.

Absolutely loved my experience at this dentist. The service was great everyone. I called same day because my wisdom teeth were giving me the worst pain. With the holidays being this week I was scared I wouldn’t be able to get in anywhere. That was not the case here. Dr.Sam took me right and removed both of my wisdom teeth and I feel so much better. I’m absolutely switching dentists. I know I have some more dental work to do and I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else.

I've been going to this office for about 2yrs now and this last appointment has been the most rewarding. All previous times were great but this session was really excellent. The process was seamless. All my questions were answered. Everyone was friendly and made me feel well taken care of. It has been several days and my teeth still feel really clean. I look forward to completing my dental program with them.

On black Friday I had the horror of loosing a filling. I called and was able to get a Saturday appointment. The staff was incredibly friendly at the front desk. The guy that took my x-rays made me feel so comfortable and was very nice and professional. The dentist was very knowledgeable and helped me with my anxiety. Unfortunately for me the previous dentist didn't do that good of a job so he had to fix her mistakes. I have to give a huge compliment to Paloma. She called me on a Sunday on a closed day to see if I was ok! Who does that. I was with a client and even she was shocked at the amazing

I was excepting the worst when it came down to extracting my wisdom teeth, but that was not the case here. Dr. Diab was so nice and clear when it came down to what I needed to get done. He made the procedure very quick and easy. All the staff was very professional and super nice. Definitely recommend!!!

Overall great experience. They took me in as an emergency visit. Gave me honest recommendations for the best course of action to take for an infected cavity that was causing me severe pain. They extracted the molar and did a bone graft that same day. Since I didn't have insurance and had to pay everything out of pocket, the cost was very reasonable. Great staff, great service.

Overall, I had a positive experience. I've been going to the same dentist for over 20 year, however, our schedules don't sync well and I've decided to try someone new. I have called on Wednesday and they were able to take me in on Friday. The office is well equipped with what looks like modern tools. The staff conducted and acted professionally. When I checked it and did all the scans, I was told the hygienist was occupied with another customer, however, if I wanted, the doctor would do it herself. I went with the second option. This place is awesome. They set a new standard for me. I'm used to dentists treating me not very well, but the entire staff here were very nice. I got two cavities filled for the first time and I felt comfortable during the entire experience. The dentist also helped polish off a piece of glue that two previous dentists had missed. Can't thank them enough.
