Karrie McKinney was born and raised in San Luis Obispo County, completing her undergraduate degree at Cal Poly in Applied Nutrition. In 2001, Karrie left Carsel & Attala, LLP and joined Mr. Attala when he started his own practice. Karrie assisted in establishing and running all facets of the practice.

Ed Attala was wonderful to work with. He helped me negotiate a difficult property settlement agreement during an extremely stressful time in my life. Ed Attala and Curtis Abram (the two attorneys in the office) did a fantastic job for me on my grandparents estate. 10/10 would recommend. The rest of the office staff were always awesome, very friendly and smart people at this firm. Their rates may be on the higher end but in my experience they’re worth every penny!

Ed Attala was terrible, typical shister, fast talking lawyer. He did nothing on my case between 6pm and 8am the next morning. I had reservations about meeting him and leaving a packet of documents with him. I came back to retrieve them and he was put off that I wanted them back. He billed me $1200. For no work. Beware of this guy's unscrupulous business practices.

As a previous tenant, I have to give mt highest amount of respect and appreciation to Mr. Attala and his staff. They were very considerate and always tried to see the best in any situation. Kristen was a complete professional and responded promptly to any of our needs. She'd go the extra mile to get information to us and even on her own time helped with a pre-inspection of the property to allows us to fix anything that could cause some loss to our security deposit.
