Mary received her BA in Communications in 1987 from Lycoming College and an AA in Dental Hygiene in 1991 from Middlesex County College. She has been with our practice for 6 years. Patient comfort and helping patients achieve and maintain a healthy environment in their mouths is very important to Mary.
She regularly attends Continuing Education classes in pursuit of cutting edge techniques to effectively achieve your oral hygiene goals and increase your comfort. Along with practicing Dental Hygiene, she enjoys raising her two children with her husband Mike and outdoor activities such as hiking and camping with her family.

At most dental practices, patients who are having a tooth restored must make at least two trips to the office, and the process takes about 2-3 weeks. I have been using Dr Barati since before he bought the practice from Dr. Forte. He has a very gentle approach, always letting the patient know what is going on, why, and the progress. I have NEVER had pain with Dr. Barati, and I've had root canals, porcelain veneers, crowns, you name it! And now crowns can be completed in one visit. No temps! No lab! He 3-D prints the new crown in the office during the appointment. Amazing technology. I am a happy patient. Had an emergency veneer break off last night and got in today and he glued it back. It only cost me 10.00 bucks!

Absolutely best dental experience getting a new crown. (I'm sure not many patients would say that about getting a crown.) Dr. Amir Barati was very knowledgeable and explained every step of the way what he was doing and why he was doing it. His assistant, Elizabeth, was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable as well. They used 3d scanning software to develop the new crown. Instead of sending the crown out and waiting 3 weeks, the crown was made right in the office with state of the art diamond grinding equipment. My crown came out beautiful. and his staff are awesome. Just had a partial root canal done (april 16th 2021) today. I felt nothing. He talks you through, checking in with you during procedure. Very comforting. Let's be honest no one enjoys dental work, but peace valley Dentistry is highly on a different level of professionalism. I love you guys lots! Thank you Dr. B for saving my teeth. 😍

I unfortunately chipped a veneer on Sunday afternoon biting down on an M&M. It wasn't an emergency but scheduling was able to get me in on Tuesday evening. 2 hours after walking in I left with a new crown manufactured on premises that fit and color mated perfectly. Besides being a genuinely nice human being Dr. Barati is an exceptional dentist. I never hesitate to recommend Peace Valley Dentistry. If you are looking for a great dentist with a wonderful staff you can not go wrong at Peace Valley Dentistry.

Finally, dentists I can trust! I found Peace Valley Dentistry a few years ago when I had a lot of dental work that needed to be done. It was a positive experience from the very beginning. Every staff member is helpful. The office is new, and has equipment and technology I haven’t seen in other dental practices.

The best dental experience. Feeling comfortable is key and I truly felt at home here. Pretty amazing for dentistry. Everyone was very friendly, the equipment was very very modern. The staff took there time to give a back story to any questions I had about their procedures and equipment. Love it here.
