I have dedicated my life to education to ensure that your pet receives state-of-the-art care. In just the past few months, I have completed over 40 hours of classes in the study of Easten Medicine and Acupuncture.
Whether it's the accidental ingestion of chocolate, a tumble down the stairs, or something more severe, pet emergencies happen. This “veterinarian” is unqualified to perform diagnosis & care. Do Check his board reprimands. He nearly killed our dog and did not finish surgery, requiring an urgent care visit elsewhere where they finished in spite of Salem’s butchering. Absolutely should not be practicing. Go elsewhere!

We didn’t have a good experience at this vet. The vet was extremely impersonable and didn’t explain things during the appointment. In the end, the appointment cost $400. A one-time administration of an ear ointment cost $100 alone. When I tried to call and express my confusion and frustration about the bill, Dr. Salem kept asking what I expected. I expected quality and transparent care at a reasonable price. I will not be going back here.

Horrible facility and Dr personality to go with it. The building is unsanitary and hardly ever occupied. Dr Salem is impersonable and he does not have a friendly demeanor at all. Trying to get a hold of anyone at this facility is darn near impossible - my baby canine missed his last set of shots because i have been calling this place for over 2 weeks now and no one answers the phone or returns calls.
All the 5 star reviews are FAKE...i bet you Dr Salem's family put those on there.

My other half and I took our two cats here and Dr. Salem was very professional and took great care of both cats. He was very straight forward with what needed to be done and did an outstanding job. We were worried one of our kitties was not going to make it but Dr. Salem did his magic and now our kitty is back to herself again. Thank you Silver Springs. We will definitely be coming back.

Amazing facility and staff! I recently made a change with my vet services, and I am VERY happy that I did! Silver Spring Veterinary Hospital is amazing. Great location, lovely office and facility, and kind, loving care from Dr. Salem! Some times you just connect with someone, and this is how I feel about him! He isn't a doctor that "goes through the motions", but rather, he is personable, and so caring! He takes time to talk, explain things, and love on your animals! Trust me! Great experience from the moment you step foot into the practice! We highly recommend Dr. Salem !!!!
