We are a photography and videography couple (oh, and Rick is a really fabulous DJ). We happen to be just like you! We got engaged in New York in 2019 and planned on getting married in the Spring of 2021 (but ya know, some major things happened in the world so we are moving it to 2022!) So we know what you're feeling and can relate in all of the ways!

As a young college student, I received a painting as a gift from someone very special and it said "If you are what you should be, you will set the world ablaze." I gazed over this swirling color of light that circles until it becomes nothing but glowing embers of gold. Foolish or not, I believed ever since that I could create something inspirational.
The flow of the perfect wedding day should include being relaxed, having fun, trusting your vendors, laughing, getting creative, making out with your person, and allowing yourself to be engulfed in the moment. We are experts. You could say it's because we have personally curated perfection at over 1,000 weddings, or it's because we just really love what we do.
Choosing a photographer was the easiest of my wedding planning decisions - I didn't even have to think about it (and I was indecisive and quite particular about everything, so that says a lot!). The quality and caliber of their photos is just incredible, and I knew that was exactly the style I wanted for my wedding photos.

Rick and Jenny are amazing souls with amazing talent. Our wedding day was enhanced by simply having them there; they're smile inducers, detail observers, and moment creators. Flow Event Group is by far the best in wedding photography/videography!!! We were fortunate enough to have them as our wedding photographers and then later as a milestone photographer for other major events in our lives. Every time Flow Event Group delivered photos that were above and beyond our expectations! Flow Event Group kept our wedding dance bumping the entire night! We had such a memorable and amazing wedding dance and Flow made it so much better! Our guests still haven't stopped talking about how fun our dance was and how great it was to have everyone on the dance floor the entire night! Couldn't recommend them anymore!

Rick & Jenny (and their team) are the Twin Cities premier photo-video-production creators. I've hired and seen them manage small and large projects/events and their methods are truly innovative. Simply put: they're able to create imagery that just isn't done anywhere else.

Rick & Jenny were the first vendor I had to lock down for my destination wedding. I'd been a guest for a previous destination wedding they shot in New York and I knew I wanted them from the moment we met! They do it all. They helped organize everything about our day. They brought so much calm, peace of mind and positive energy during the day that I felt great during all of it. Simply the best! There was no question in my mind to hire Rick and his team for our wedding. I knew we would be in good hands with his years of experience coupled with his consistent investment in continuing education and state of the art equipment. The pictures captured the day, the video is priceless, and the dance floor was packed. I was impressed with the quick turnaround on our photos and video too. Added bonus, Rick and Jenny are awesome people to have around on your wedding day. Worth every penny!!!

Having a great time at an event is really important to me whether or not I'm hosting it. I'm always impressed with Flow Event Group as their attention to detail helps the event 'flow' really well. PLUS they always provide stunning images afterward for proof of a good time. I wouldn't recommend anyone other than Flow for your next event!

We got married in a unique space for lighting - the Amber Box @ the Guthrie - and Flow not only had previous experience in the space but expressed so much confidence and ability that we were wowed over right away. They made us feel comfortable with an engagement shoot and were a key part of our celebration all day long on our special day. So many of our guests continue to comment to us on how much they enjoyed our photographers (and the DJ they brought to us as well). And of course the photos are great and such a treasured keepsake.

The best way to describe our experience would be a slow downhill slide with an mediocre ending. Flow comes highly reviewed and the owner, Rick, is charismatic and clearly knows what he is doing. During our initial face to face, Rick agreed to DJ our wedding over a year in advance. However, a month before, he informed us our DJ's name was Lance, without explanation. I then received the Event Detail Document, filled it out and sent it in. I had to reach out to coordinate a phone call to discuss the details which went fine. I already had a clear picture of what I wanted and a detailed list of

When planning our wedding, I knew right away we were going with Flow. After having met and worked with Rick in several aspects, his energy and positivity cannot be beaten. He is passionate about his work and has a smile on his face the whole damn time. We created our cocktail playlist and gave Rick free reign on the reception music (with a list of do's and don'ts). We had guests on the dance floor all night long and those are moments that will forever be remembered on our wedding day. Our guests had so much fun and ripped it up on the dance floor. I would hire Flow again and again!
