Services
Thao was born in Vung Tau, Vietnam, but her formative years were spent here in Minnesota. She is a graduate from the University of Minnesota - Duluth. After spending years in the corporate world, she decided to pursue her passion for food and wine. Thao has traveled extensively and has been fortunate to have experienced fabulous cuisines from around the world.
Our price includes cost for food, rentals (dinnerware, silverware, glassware, linens and napkins), staffing, delivery, service charge, and local sales tax. If a venue charges a catering fee, this will be added to the invoice. Our average price per person will depend on many factors, such as the specific menu, service style (buffet, family, plated), staffing needs, hours on-site, and rentals (dinnerware, silverware, glassware, linens and napkins).

Green Mangos Catering combines an adventurous, global palate with a focus on fresh ingredients. Because we feel that every event is unique, we don't have set menus. Choose from one of our favorite selections or dare us to custom-design a menu to personalize your special day! A non-refundable "save the date" deposit of $1,000 is required to reserve your date.

With full service, you'll have the peace of mind knowing that all aspects of your event are covered from table set up to cleanup.

Was at a friend's wedding and had the best experience ever! Great food, great service, and not to mention their great personality! Green Mangos Catering went beyond expectations and had given me and my friends the best experience we had and made the wedding the most enjoyable and memorable night ever! We contacted Green Mangos Catering for providing dinner for the Memorial Event for our daughter. Thao met with us at the venue and went over all the details. She was very cooperative and eager to do a good job. We wanted a full-service caterer. She took complete responsibility for party rentals, supplies, and food. Her attention to detail was impressive. Since meeting this dynamic duo, I have been recommending them. Green Mangos Catering (Tom and Thao) is the real thing. They are compassionate about their work, fair in negotiation, experienced beyond their years and incredibly fun to be with. Thao's wine knowledge is represented by her awards and accreditations. Covid-19 has been a challenging year for so many of us. For some tragic and Devastating. My friends and I booked a virtual wine tasting with Chef Thao. I had no idea what to expect. I couldn’t wrap this idea around my head but my friends are avid wine drinkers and we missed our times together so we booked and counted the days down! It was such a unique and fun experience! Working with Thao during our wedding planning process was amazing! She answered every email and crazy question/menu change quickly and was always willing to work with us. She not only prepared a fabulous meal but helped to put together a beautiful event! Also, her husband Tom was awesome to work with on the day of our wedding, anything we asked, he took care of! There are no words to describe how amazing Green Mangos Catering was at our wedding. I'm not even sure 5 stars is an accurate score because of how above and beyond they went to make our day special. To start, they are extremely professional, responsive, and knowledgeable. They always knew what details needed to be discussed!! The food is absolutely perfect. Each protein was cooked so beautifully, and the flavors were just outstanding.
