RedZone Fitness offers a unique atmosphere for clients and trainers with many different backgrounds, capabilities, and goals. It is a fun and inviting studio for all. It was created to fill a noticeable void in the industry. There simply were not gyms designed for private personal trainers to bring their clients.

RedZone Fitness fills that void. Trainers, bring your clients here for a state of the art gym experience that offers you one on one time without the distraction of others; privacy for your clients that cuts down on self conscientiousness & allows a more personalized training session without restrictions!

Alex is hands down one of the best trainers in the DMV. My best friend and I did semi-private sessions with him. He is incredibly knowledgeable and doesn't just make you do a workout, he will explain the mechanics behind the form and why it's important. He tailors each workout to your abilities and goals and encourages you without being pushy. The whole gym and all the trainers are super friendly, it's like you are walking into a family. Definitely recommend Alex or any of the trainers at Redzone!

I've been training with Alex once a week for the past 1.5yrs. My focus has been on building muscle strength and endurance in order to better participate/compete in obstacle runs (Spartan Runs, Warrior Dashes, and [long-term goal] Tough Mudders). My progress on both fronts has been nothing short of amazing. Not only does Alex know how to push/motivate, but he's also very knowledgable about the science behind metabolic and high-intensity interval training. In addition, having R-shoulder instability (surgery), he's incorporated workout pieces to help me strengthen those associated muslce groups. I

Overweight out of shape senior needing incentive, support and training. Alex is kind, supportive, thoughtful, knowledgeable, non judgmental, patient and he kicks my butt. Just what I need. I'm now 12 weeks in (going 2 x a week) and I am extraordinarily pleased with everything and I have exceedingly high expectations. He is flexible and accommodating about the occasional schedule change and is a really personable and kind guy. Whether you are experienced and fit or a couch potato - I cannot recommend RedZone and Alex highly enough.

Man what a good work out! if you want one on one training go here! amazing workouts and such a cool place to get away from the norm. Its like having your own gym and very own trainer all there for you when you want it. Just show up! have fun be ready to work hard and get results you want !

The best personalized training. He made me a meal plan and tailored it to what I like to eat. He's very understanding and motivating. The best part is the personalized attention you receive. It's not like other gyms or clubs where there are 50 people inside. He actually cares about your growth and progress.

I've worked in the fitness industry for over a decade -- as a trainer, group exercise instructor, and fitness center manager -- so you could say I have an above average understanding of what separates a great trainer from a so-so trainer.

Alex is unquestionably one of those rare trainers who understand both the psychological and practical aspects of training. He is quick to tune into the personalities of his clients and push/encourage them accordingly, and he isn't rigid in his training approach -- if you want to skip or modify an exercise, he is happy to adjust the workout. I work with Alex here, and he's a wonderful personal trainer. I'm so glad I picked him.

Alex is a great motivating factor. He encourages me to work hard, but also recognizes my limits and lets me listen to my body. Alex creates workout plans that are tailored to your fitness level and your goals, and encourages you every step of the way.

I've found working with Alex to be uplifting and positive each and every time. Plus, Alex isn't some meathead that wants to kill you; he's genuinely interested in your success and working WITH you.

Well let's start the review, first of all I came onto this place merely by chance . As my girlfriend was getting her hair done upstairs I noticed a sign for red zone Fitness ...
I was interested because I have been slacking on my weight training and I needed some motivation so I walked downstairs.. As I walked into the downstairs gym I noticed that this Place meant business .. I started to speak with Alex the personal trainer , he started asking me questions about my health my diet and how many days I'm training in the gym .. I have worked with personal trainers since in my early 20s. As a former fitness instructor and a corporate wellness professional, I am telling you - I've found the best. Alex (the owner) is my trainer now - I work out with him 3 times per week. He is among the most knowledgeable professionals in the business!

In my two months with RedZone, i have seen my neck and shoulder pain disappear through a very focused training regimen. Alex also works with my Physical Therapist to tailor workouts to my needs!
