After working three decades in the Chicago theater community (Goodman Theatre, Steppenwolf Theatre, The Theatre School at DePaul University, et al) as a stage carpenter, Technical Director, and other duties, Jim brought that wealth of experience to the real estate industry as a home inspector.

At True Blue, we visually inspect the property in great detail in all accessible areas from the roof to the foundation including the utility systems and appliances. I worked with Jim on an inspection for a new home purchase. He was incredibly responsive right off the bat and easy to work with. He even helped coordinate the radon testing. When walking through the home, he did a wonderful job of pointing out items to address and also provided context on the level of urgency needed for each. It is also worth noting his prices are competitive. I wouldn't hesitate to work with Jim for any future home inspections and recommend him to anyone looking for an inspector.

Jim is a true professional, he is knowledgeable and thorough. What I love about Jim is he walks my clients through the whole house, show them how things work, what they should look for, recommend repair/replacement, and answers all their questions and concerns.
If you are a first-time home buyer, there is a lot going on and Jim make it easy for my clients.
