Johnny helped me out with my taxes and it was super easy. I moved away from SD but he was still willing to help me out with my taxes. He was super convenient and accessible whenever I had any questions. I have no idea about the information so I asked him and trusted him throughout the whole process. It was very fast. Unfortunately our tax guy became ill & sold his business to this group. We believed the sincerity of Richard Alvarez but it proved false. Our taxes took over a month to process! We'll definitely find a more personable preparer. But, if you're OK with foot-draggers, non-personal service, phone calls never returned, then this is the place for you!

I had my taxes done here for the first time with Jonathan Zavala. The process was very smooth and efficient and I was able to do it all virtually. In person or over E-Mail it's always straightforward and a pleasure working with everyone there. Janette at the front desk was super friendly and helpful as well. Walking into Blanco Tax Law's office for the very first time, was wonderful. A very clean suite and great taste in the decor. Company has touchless sanitizing products for customers to help themselves and that, made my husband and I feel safe. We schedule an appointment and upon our arrival, we waited no longer than 3 minutes to be greeted by our tax preparer. Jonathan was VERY professional and friendly and made us feel safe and comfortable. Jonathan is a multitasker at it's best. He is able to work on your taxes as he keeps conversation going and keeping eye contact. Very knowledgeable

I usually hate doing my taxes but Jonathan Zavala always makes it so easy for us! He asks for all the information/paperwork in advance, will hold zoom or phone call meetings if we cant go into the office, and gives great tax advice for the upcoming year. Jonathan was very professional, customer service driven and knowledgeable! Whenever I asked any questions, he was able to provide a thorough breakdown so I was able to understand that accountant/tax preparer jargon!
I have filed my taxes with him prior, along with a long list of other individuals I know, but this is my first time being helped by him at this specific firm. He's just that efficient at his job (and very easy to talk to) that I decided to go to him again, regardless of location.

Horrible customer service. Walked into office and no one smiles or offers to help. My usual tax preparer merged with this company due to a minimized work schedule. I won't be returning until I get an appointment with my tax preparer especially since this is the first time I'm using this company. They mixed my appointment up and tried to schedule me with someone else after waiting 40 minutes. Waste of time from our work schedules.

We had been using Blanco Tax for many years, I believe since 2009 or so. I used to do my own for many years before I got too damm lazy. We were mostly satisfied coming here, especially in the the early days when he only charged us like $75.
I never was savvy enough to be able to send him all the documents online so..
We dropped the paperwork off, and came back in a week or so to both sign and finish our tax returns.

Don't put yours trust in this people please. This place was a good want call Luval the former owner Lucy was really good but the new people taking over is a big mess they are expensive thay make mistakes and they don't care after you paid, I do not recommend this place to anybody they are supposed to be the experts but at the end if something happens they don't do anything for you. They did everything for me , no hassle at all. Good fees, they accommodated to my schedule for meetings, they were very helpful.

I had a problem with the IRS. I met Jesse 4 years ago and he helped me through the whole process to fix my problem. Him and his staff (Miriam , Mariana) were very professional .To tell you the truth I owed a lot of money in taxes , he saved me from the IRS,HE GOT ME SUCH A GREAT DEAL. He paid attention to all the details in my case so he could get me a great deal. I felt so relieved and I trusted him and his staff all the way. I STRONGLY RECOMEND HIM. One year ago the greatest Tax Lady "Lucy" pass away unexpectedly and Blanco Tax Law acquired the business. This is the first year I deal with Jesse and his staff and I do not know where to begin expressing my total disappointment in service. Blanco Tax Law has to be the worst profesional service I have ever encountered, they don't return calls, miss multiple deadlines, has no leadership and makes the most outrageous excuses for not meeting their deadlines.
Lucy would be so disappointed to have such incompetent people running her business that took her 40+ years to built!!
