Functional fitness is training with a purpose. It has the ability to help you expand your physical literacy no matter what your goals are. From a practical standpoint, functional fitness is learning how to move in your everyday life more efficiently. Squatting, pushing, pulling, lifting, climbing, crawling, jumping, and running are staple foundational movements in functional fitness.

Reach offers 100+ training program in 7 different categories - Athletic Performance, Functional Bodybuilding, Crossfit, LEO/Military, General Physical Preparedness, Obstacle Course Racing, and Olympic Weightlifting. Addtionally, we offer programming teams that can be joined.

This gym IS NOT a CrossFit cult. You’ll find helpful, knowledgeable staff and friendly members. Track your progress through the app-lead workouts that are included with the membership. Show up at a time that fits within your schedule and work out with programming tailored to your goals and training style. I’ve been to dozens and dozens of gyms and this by far the best. I’ve seen better results in the last year and a half here than in the last 15 years on my own.

Our Performance Training, Inc. team competed at the DEKA Strong event held at Reach. The staff was very friendly and professional. The facility is well put together with a lot of funtional space for all levels of fitness. Looks like a welcoming gym if you are looking for a gym out west.

Amazing facility with great equipment and highly trained & skilled coaches. I have tried several crossfit and other gyms in the past and reach functional fitness is by far the best I have experienced. Coach Taylor is amazing and very knowledgeable. They also customize a fitness program for you based on your goals. The most important thing about the gym is safety, my wife and I feel safe here because I know there's always a coach watching and making sure your doing it right without hurting yourself. I highly recommend this place.

I’ve been working out at home for at least 10 years because of the hassle of driving to a gym and it was just easier at home. That being said, I have several friends that that have been going to REACH and I was blown away at just how much their bodies have changed from the last time I saw them! They have been telling me for awhile how much this facility and coaches have changed their life, so I took a chance and did one day workout with the notion that I’d evaluate it for several weeks and then make make my mind up if I wanted to join. Great gym, very unique and offers a variety of training programs. Most impressed with the staff; they are well educated, provide excellent service and very friendly. Would highly recommend! Especially for those looking for personal or guided training.

Best gym in town! All the equipment is brand new. I love the culture and it’s not a clicky kind of place. Everyone is super kind, but gets after it! Free weights, plenty of squat racks, hammers to swing, and sleds to push. They have weighted vests, tons of medicine balls and kettle bells. Great alternative for the old dusty machines everywhere else in town. Also, knowledgeable coaching staff and great music to keep you amped!

One of the best decisions I’ve made for my health. Everything I could possibly need is right there with an extremely knowledgeable coaching staff to assist if need be. I’m stronger, I’m faster and I’m a better me physically and mentally. A big thanks to Coach Taylor and his workout plans, held within our members only app, that are equally difficult as they are enjoyable.
I recommend anyone and everyone of all ages and fitness levels to check out Reach. You will likely get the right push and/or direction you need towards a better you!

Love this gym! Seriously, 10 out of 10! I love that the gym provides you an app with a program that perfectly fits you. As a mommy of two, the busy mom program is the perfect fit! Also the coaches are awesome! They are always willing to help and answer any of my questions. Whether you are just starting out or been working out for years, Reach is the perfect fit for your fitness journey.

The best gym in Knoxville, the friendliest gym I've ever been to, and the staff is amazing! From the first time walking in, I felt at home. You can follow your own programming, or choose from the several that they have to offer. Couldn't recommend it more, I love this place!
