William J. Stogsdill is the founder and managing member of The Stogsdill Law Firm, P.C, a ten-attorney firm, concentrating in domestic relations law, located in Wheaton, Illinois. William was also licensed to practice in the Northern District Federal Court since 1974 and licensed to practice in the United States Supreme Court in 1980.
Mr. Estes was trial counsel who successfully argued for the application of "parent alienation" in obtaining approximately an equal division of parenting time for the father of his minor daughter. The application of the "parent alienation" theory was affirmed by the Second District Appellate Court as only one of two (2) cited cases in the State of Illinois which have affirmed such theory.
Mr. Boyd graduated from John Marshall Law School in 1975 and immediately began working for the DuPage County Public Defender's Office where he remained as a felony trial attorney for 10 years. During that period of time, Mr. Boyd also established a successful family law practice. In 1995, Mr. Boyd joined The Stogsdill Law Firm, P.C. as a trial attorney specializing in complex financial matters and custody trials.

Don't hire this firm. I had Christopher Stanton and Christopher Zaruba on my case. They only half listened to me. They had great recommendations on my case however they didn't follow through with the filings that they recommended and I agreed with on the matter. When my ex starting paying less child support they charged me upwards of $800 than said they couldn't do anything I would have to figure it out. Why are you an attorney specializing in family law if you can't get back child support for me? They said that they would work with me on payment for services and than

Robert Boyd of the Stogsdill Law Group was my lawyer for over three years in a divorce and custody battle that cost me and my ex-husband $75,000. Bob is in the upper echelon of family law attorneys in the western suburbs and his rate reflects that at $500 an hour. I would say Bob is a lawyer who gives personal attention to his clients in the very beginning of the case. Then has no problem suddenly being extremely disrespectful and going no contact for months at a time despite attempt after attempt to discuss the case. I am pleased with my attorney at Stogsdill When you net it out he saved me far more $$$ than the fees they charged to handle my case. Unfortunately this was not my first rodeo and I've had some ringside seats with divorces of friends, in-laws and out-laws. My first atty from many years ago was good. My atty from Stogsdill seemed to be far smarter and a better "tactician" shall we say. I never felt he prolonged the case to get more billable hours.
