Services
Sproutlings utilizes center based, play based, hands on learning. Through these methods, the Sproutlings staff can focus on developing skills that are critical in preparing children for school. Cooperative play helps develop social-emotional skills, as well as normal language development. Students discover nature outside, grow their own plants in planters and conduct experiments in the classroom.
The core of Sproutlings is not the building, resources or amenities-it's our people. Each person on staff supports our "one family" mission of providing inclusive, compassionate care. Whether it's through active play on the floor or a kind hand of support in therapy, you can see their dedication in everything they do.
We understand the delicate circumstances involved with children who have ongoing, severe medical needs. For parents, it's extremely difficult to leave the care of your child in someone else's hands. That's why we have implemented a highly specialized program with qualified, nurturing care professionals.
While Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) centers provide non-residential nursing care to children who are prescribed this care by a physician, Sproutlings is the only integrated PPEC center in the region that integrates children of all abilities. We serve medically eligible children starting at 6 weeks of age, depending on their needs and the suitability of our services.

Sproutlings is wonderful. The staff there provide superb care and curriculum. I have complete trust that my child is receiving love and support in addition to a great education. Knowing my child was at Sproutlings made my return to work from maternity leave much easier. I recommend them to everyone looking for care in Louisville.

My good friend took her daughter there, and she immediately caught a virus. Whether or not this is commonplace at daycares, parents shouldn't expect that their children will be infected at your facility. She has sores in her mouth, a fever, won't eat, and is struggling to breathe. They allowed one of their teachers to show up (working amongst the children) with pink eye.

I have a 2 year old with moderate to severe special needs. The moment I walked into sproutlings I knew it was the place for her. The staff is very friendly. It is very obvious that they love what they do. I couldn't be more pleased with the care my child is receiving. When we drive over the railroad tracks my daughter starts laughing and smiling. Not only do I love it but most importantly she does. They make you feel right at home at sproutlings and are happy to tell you how your child is doing via phone call throughout the day. Choosing the right daycare was one of the most important decisions I had to make as a mom-to-be. After our child arrived and my maternity leave was over, I really struggled with leaving my baby and going back to work. Fortunately, I made the best decision. Our daughter has been with Sproutlings for almost two years and I feel that she is in the best hands. As a teacher myself, I can tell you that these teachers are so genuine and clearly love these little humans.
