We had originally planned to send our kindergartener to public school, but we are so glad we decided to stick with Holy Family. Our son is excelling in school and comes home excited to share what he has been learning.

Holy Family Catholic School & Preschool serves three-year-old through eighth-grade children from Holy Family Parish of New Albany and the surrounding community. We welcome all families who desire faith formation, challenging academic programs, and quality enrichment activities for their children.

All children deserve a quality, Catholic education and Holy Family is committed to making that a reality no matter the financial situation of the family. Also referred to as vouchers, the Choice program provides scholarships to eligible Indiana students equal to 90% of their local school corporation's per-student funding.
Recently passed legislation makes private education available to more families than ever before. If you meet the requirements outlined below, you immediately qualify to receive a voucher scholarship through the School Choice Program that is worth between 94 and 100% of Holy Family tuition. The exact amount of scholarship depends on your county of residence, so please contact our office for specific information.

My three children attended Holy Family over a span of 21 years! They greatly benefited from the school's high academic standards, expanded curriculum, and differentiated instruction. A strong work ethic, combined with perseverance and study skills, was modeled, reinforced, and expected. Best of all, they learned how to treat others as they wanted to be treated, even when it wasn't so easy.

I have taught 2nd grade at HF for 28 years and feel extremely blessed to work in such a caring, family-oriented school with a selfless faculty and staff. Parents, teachers, and the administration work well together to provide a safe and successful learning environment for each child. I am especially proud when our graduates return and share their accomplishments with us! I love my school!

My experiences with Holy Family school have been phenomenal! From the preschool to 8th grade, my children have had teachers who are knowledgeable in their field and who have cared for them as if they were their own. My children have thrived in a learning environment that has challenged them to be their best self, both academically and morally. I love the small class sizes, the wonderful teachers, and the Christ like community that Holy Family embodies.

Holy Family has been a second home for my children and family since my high schooler was in preschool. I value the faith centered atmosphere, close community and outstanding teachers who teach my child about their faith, as well as academics. The difference between Holy Family and other schools is that they teach the whole child. They care and go above and beyond daily! We are so grateful for our experience at Holy Family School and Church!!

Holy Family has been a part of my life since birth! My father was in the 2nd graduating class. I, along with my siblings, graduated from this wonderful school. All of my children are graduates of HFS, too! They were extremely prepared for high school, as each one of them tested in to the honors level classes! I have nothing but great things to say about the staff, the education received, the extracurricular activities available, and the lifetime friendships formed! What a great experience for all of us!!!

We moved to Southern Indiana before our kids were of school age and visited several schools before choosing Holy Family. One of the best decisions we have made...small class sizes, excellent teachers, great sports programs offered for preschool to 8th grade and a caring atmosphere that teaches children responsibility, service to others and builds a strong foundation for academic success.
