Starmark did not skip a beat in their process. Their communication was exceptional and their work even more so. They have some “eagle eyes” doing great work to insure the quality of homes in and around Charlotte. I recommend them alone to perform inspections because of their level of professionalism. We had a different experience as the seller of the home vs. the buyer (the one paying the bill). John included several incorrect items on his report that could've easily been resolved had he taken a moment to reach out to us for explanation/clarification. For example, he reported a door inoperable when he simply did not know how to unlock it. Also, that there had been "wildlife activity" in the attic where my husband had neatly moved the insulation to expose the boards to walk on. On the positive...very thorough and professional. A shame he didn't reach out to us (even after I called them) for

Extremely satisfied with the pre-drywall inspection services provided by John and Robin (Starmark Home Inspections).
There were multiple re-schedules that I had to do, because of unprecedented delays (for house to be ready for inspection).
Robin and John were very accommodating and helped me in managing the schedule.
On the inspection part, John did the inspection and called me right after he was done (did not meet in person due to Covid restrictions). He explained everything in detail and by the evening provided me with a well detailed report(with tons of pictures and markings of what needs

I contracted Starmark Home Inspections to complete pre-dry wall inspection and a final home inspection. Both inspection were very well conduct. The inspections were very detail and things were caught that I was not expecting. Example: During the pre-dry wall the builder had plywood with holes that needed to be replace. There were drilled holes which had not been foamed. There were also wood braces that were bent. The report I received was very well detailed and included pictures of all the issues found. Working with Starmark was easy, smooth, and totally satisfactory. I reached a live person to set up the appointment, the appointment was confirmed, and the inspector arrived on time. The inspection was very thorough, gave me a detailed verbal summary at the end, and was happy to answer any questions I had. His written report arrived two days later, and then a user-friendly report to fill out about when items I wanted action on. Oh, and his rates were very competitive. Would highly recommend.

Starmark Home Inspections are thorough, detailed and easy to understand. My clients have used their services many times and each time Starmark has gone above and beyond to help. John and Joe are wonderful inspectors. You could not have an inspector care more than Joe Tindall who went back 4 times for us, late in the evening and early in the morning, to make sure the repairs were done properly for one of the homes!
