It's rare for me to go on Yelp and write a review, but I had to give a shot out to my amazing stylist Sherry! She has delivered fabulous service time and time again. I don't have the easiest hair to work with, but she always creates these fun looks that are super manageable for me to maintain at home. She's the best colorist that I've ever had and everytime I leave the salon I get soooooo many compliments on my color- even from random strangers. Sherry is someone you can trust with your hair and will make you feel beautiful

I've been coming here since high school and I love the location and feel of this hair salon!
Carolyn has always done an amazing job with my hair and I definitely recommend this place if your looking for a long standing and reliable place for your hair.

For context, I have short, very wavy hair that I can very easily curl with a bit of product and a diffuser PROVIDED enough weight has been taken out.

A little over two years ago, my then boyfriend and I walked into a salon in Willow Glen named Fusion. We were there for his haircut, not mine. However, I HATED my hair. I flat out hated it. The cut was bad, the color worse, and the look was definitely not something I was proud of. And, it was way shorter than I wanted - - the result of prior haircuts gone bad.

KC is the "go to hair guru" for my entire family! I've referred every person looking for a top stylist/color expert to her and so far, in the course of our 5 year love a-hair () I've not had one complain or regret going to her! The other professionals in the salon are nice, easy to chat with and always busy... But since my personal experience is with KC, she's who I'm focused on today! I've truly been remiss in getting this out there... but as the saying goes... Better late than never! And the same applies to your do! Thanks, KC, for always tolerating

I was extremely disappointed in this so called hair studio. They make you feel "all about the money" instead of customer satisfaction. They are very over priced and stylist are a bit behind the times with there styles and cuts. I would recommend you think twice about making this choice. Another thing that raises a "red flag" is there is only a few reviews on here, for the business to be open for a while and they are all over the top favorable, you mean not one person is dissatisfied....hum??

I've been a client of Sherry Hammons (owner of salon) for 4 years now. I have thin, fine hair and have never been happy with any previous hairdresser for very long. Since I found Sherry, it's been a completely different experience. She listens and understands what you're trying to achieve. She's extremely detailed with her cuts (never left here with one side longer than the other as I have with previous hairdressers), great eye for color and my hair looks the best it's ever looked. New to area and took my 19yr old son here. Definitely 5 Stars for the Hair cut/style from Megan LaCore - she obviously knows what she is doing and gave him a top-notch cut. Only reason I couldn't give it a 5 Star overall was the really confusing/disorganized front desk. If I were the manager I would immediately figure out what is up with your computers and fix them....nobody wants to waste time while someone endlessly types info into a computer when you're trying to check out....

I work in a relatively conservative profession, but have not been willing to give up wearing my hair long. It's also wavy-to-curly, and tends to both frizz up and tangle a lot if not well cared for. I count on Megan LaCore's expertise to trim/cut in ways that make it easier to take care of.

I have extremely long hair which I have been growing out for over half my life that I am very protective of. Denise LaManita is excellent at hair! My cut has been exactly right since my first time with Denise. She gives a great cut for my hair's specific texture, which is slightly unusual (fine hair, but lots of it. Mostly straight, but with a lot of body and a slight wave).
Since going to Denise I no longer 'do' my hair. I just brush it, run a mixture of gel and leave-in conditioner through it, and go. This is all I need to have flowing, summery, Victoria Secret hair! Denise has brought out my inner hot girl. To which I say, Winning!

K C Curtin is great! I have followed her for 10 years and would have her cut my hair even if it was in McDonald's! She was recommended by a great friend. Once I started with KC I found she had been cutting hair for another friend and her daughter for 20 years! Her genuine friendship is exceeded only by her professional talent. I'm a guy. Maybe it was overwhelming with the crowd of women that blew in from the "Ladies Night Out" event, but the stylists at this salon weren't exactly the friendliest. They catered very nicely to the waspy clientele with their high gloss blow-outs and soccer mom 'do's, but were not as attentive with others not fitting in that category. I could see the looks of annoyance and catty side-glances amongst the stylists with each other when an older woman not fitting their target customer tried to ask a question.

I love KC Curtin at Fusion Salon. I have seen all sorts of folks in her chair, from girls getting funky cuts with wild colors, to old ladies getting their weekly 'do, to men (tons of male clients!) who all look really sharp when they're done. I go to KC for cut and color, and she knows what I want and always delivers--a natural-looking color that won't look weird as it grows out, and a cut that grows out well.
