Seriously best salon ever! I’ve never been to a salon before, and I am so glad I finally decided to go. Liz Diaz did my hair, and totally fixed my damaged ends and orange quarantine hair. She bleached it perfectly, ZERO damage, in fact my hair feels healthier, bouncier, and shiny— INCREDIBLE. Liz was so friendly, experienced, knowledgeable and kind. All of the staff were so professional and they are all true hair wizards. 1000000/10.

Had 2pm appt. Got me out by 3! They are efficient and very friendly and caring group.

I would not recommend this place to anyone! No experience and extremely rude management. You are better off going to super cuts instead of coming here. I'm shocked they have been open for this long.

I rarely fill out Google reviews, but I felt compelled to do so after my experience with Lexie (@FacesByLexie) at Collective. It had been about 6 months since I'd gotten a haircut, and I wasn't quite sure what to do with it. Lexie was extremely friendly, bright, and helpful as we talked through some options and got to work.
Fast forward 18 hours, and I felt like my haircut didn't quite fit the bill (no fault of Lexie's) - it had been so long since I'd gotten it cut and I realized I wanted to make some more changes. I reached out to her, and she was SO gracious and friendly - got me back in the

This is a great shop filled with skilled stylists. Overall it is very conveniently located in the heart of Old Town Pasadena. It's always a memorable visit to Old Town after a Collective visit

Maggie is the best for blondes. I'm new to the salon and asked the receptionist to recommend a colorist for my double process blonde. She recommended their newest stylist-- Maggie-- and I was blown away by my service. No one (no one!) gets a blonde color right on the first try, and Maggie nailed it. She's fastidious, super knowledgeable, and fun to talk to. The best. My hair is shiny, lush, and has zero banding. She's the best blonde colorist I've ever been to. In LA, New York, London, Paris... anywhere.

Just had my roots and highlights done with Lexi and I have to say that I was soooo happy with how it turned out. I showed her some pics and got exactly what I was looking for. I've been to several other places with the same request and have never received what I really wanted. Lexi takes her time ( be prepared to stay there a while) but it's worth it, if you get what u ask for. She's super sweet, patient, and meticulous ( in a good way). Thanks Lexi!

I am obsessed with my new cut! I am mixed and have in-between 3b and 3c curls, so it has been a struggle to find a stylist who I felt understood the right way to do a cut. Let me tell you, Daniel knows what he is doing. I felt very comfortable in his chair and he was nice enough to give me some styling tips that I could do at home. Highly recommend!

Lexi turned my nightmare of a hair job into something dreamy and beautiful. I was so impressed by her skills and technique. She really cares about her clients and the work that she does. She took time to listen to what I wanted and was able to execute it perfectly.
I've never had a happier experience at a hair salon. After she was done, I was actually glad the previous stylist (at another salon) messed up my hair because I got to meet such a sweet and skilled gal, who took care of me so well. My color and cut came out way better

Maggie does the best blonde. Period. I’m a little nervous writing this because when word gets out about the best blonde colorist in LA, she’s going to be too busy to see me. But I owe it to my fellow blondes to leave this review. She’s new to this salon, and she’s the best.

Before I went to Adrienne at Collective Hair, my hair was... fine. It looked how I felt - like I was a mom of an 8-month old, just keeping it together. I wanted a change that would give me a little pep in my step, and LET ME TELL YOU. Adrienne Reed is a freaking w i z a r d. She took me from heavy layers to chic bob. Her talent with cutting hair is unrivaled; she spent every bit of time and attention giving me a cut that would not only look pretty but perform. For those of you who've had hair constantly flip in on one side and out on the other no matter what you do, you know why this matters.

I forgot to mention Lexi - whom I've seen just once but did a very lovely and long-lasting make-up session for me. The fun photo is from the headshot session we did, with some great shots. Hair and makeup can make photo shoots less intimidating, resulting in a lot more fun and natural pix. Slightly oxymoronic. Isn't life just?!

I went to Bibi to cut my hair and get a gloss. She was so nice and definitely wanted to make me happy with my new hairstyle. She asked me what were my concerns and what I was looking to get. She was also very nice and caring which definitely made me trust her with my hair. By the time we were done, I was so excited to show off my new hair. She made me want to even go shorter on my hair length for my next hair cut. Bibi will definitely be one of my favorite stylist to go to for my hair. The salon is also very cute and modern. My sister gave me thee most amazing birthday gift of highlights. I recently got extensions and I was in desperate need of blending my color....enter Adrienne (Reed).

I sent her photos of what I wanted after my sister did the proper text into (she's a long time client of hers) and I'm so happy (and everyone loves my new do).

New color & a blow out and I feel like a brand new woman. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I recently moved to Pasadena so I really wanted to find a hair salon here. I decided to come here based in high reviews and I left so disappointed. Granted, I should've done more research on all the employees and I had a last min appointment but I assumed because of high reviews they were all great. Unfortunately my haircut was nothing like I asked for and what hurt the most I paid $90 for it and that didn't include tips.

I came to Collective Hair for the first time after a terrible experience at another salon earlier in the day, and I left the salon smiling ear to ear with my Black Girl Magic restored. Shannon was my stylist and she was incredible! My natural hair is thick, coarse (4c-ish) and bra strap length, but Shannon handled it like a total pro!
I came in for a wash, blowout, and trim and Shannon was ready to see me when I came through the door. As a young professional punctuality is critical because my time is valuable.

What a pleasant experience. I was in town for a conference and needed a refresh. I know that is risky but as soon as I walked in to see my options I received superior attention. I think I was greeted by the owner. I was cautious at first but she listened well and made great suggestion. The next day I had my appointment with Bibi, she and the gal from the day before were talking about best method for my hair. My hair is graying and I want to go white. Bibi tones my hair and did fabulous cut. If I lived in this area this would be my place.

I've lived in many LA neighborhoods, but Pasadena holds a special place in my heart. It's where I gained my independence as a young adult and also where I met some of my favorite people and service providers. Adrienne is one of them.
It's been 15 years and there is no one that can cut my hair like her. So much so that when I'm out of town or need a speedy blow dry, other stylists ALWAYS comment on how good my hair cut is. She's an artist and the magician that allowed me to wear my hair natural and air dried!
I whole heartedly support them and recommend their services!!
