We believe the best way to make an informed decision is to visit our facility and meet our teachers. We also offer a trial class for your child. Please call 773-251-7563 to schedule a tour! Welcome to Growing Seeds Preschool at the Lincoln Park/De Paul/Lakeview neighborhood, your full-day daycare and preschool that serves children between 2 and 5 years old.
At Growing Seeds, we provide a nurturing and creative environment carefully designed to encourage children to express themselves and to develop the small voice inside them that is just waiting to be heard! Children know it is A-OK to make mistakes, to fall and cry, and to try new things as they explore the world and how they relate to it through play-based activities, storytelling, music and art.

As the seeds of possibility, we believe that the most immediate passion we can impart to your children is a love of learning, and that their growth is shaped by the values shared by your respective families and communities. We incorporate this knowledge into the experience we cultivate through fun and play.
My name is Claudine David, an Early Childhood Education teacher and a parent of two boys myself. I have always loved teaching and spending time with young children. It has been my dream to start a school with teachers that share the same philosophy we have here at Growing Seeds Preschool. Teaching young children is not always about fun and games, although there are certainly lots of it!
Our space was designed and furnished with children in mind. We have designated areas for quiet and active play, reading, arts, sensory and pretend play. The equipment and toys have been carefully selected to facilitate learning and achieve curriculum goals. We at Growing Seeds Preschool believe that children are naturally curious and eager to gain knowledge of their surroundings.
Our teachers are especially trained to facilitate and implement our multidisciplinary curriculum, while establishing roles of guidance, creative learning and discipline. I am the founder and director of Growing Seeds Preschool. I oversee all programs and the preschool's daily operations. I started this school after completing my master's degree in Early Childhood Education from De Paul University.
This is a child-led activity wherein the child chooses which toys to play with. This is done during the first 2 hours in the morning to give the children time to assimilate in the classroom, and then again in the afternoon while waiting for their parents. Circle Time. We gather as a community. We all sit down on the carpet to talk about the world around us, sing songs, learn new concepts, play as a group, and listen to stories.

We started our daughter at Growing Seeds Preschool right when their doors opened in 2016 (we since have moved out of state). We loved our experience at Growing Seeds and found the personalized touch, warmth, and curriculum to be exactly what our daughter needed. She always amazed us with the new facts, knowledge and songs she picked up from school. It was truly a special place for our child to grow and blossom.

My 3 year old daughter really enjoyed attending here. She was always talking about Ms. Claudine and Ms. Rissi outside of school. It didn’t take long to see some real progress, both socially and academically. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good preschool for their kids. If we hadn’t moved away from Chicago, our daughter would still be attending there.
