Winner of 36th Annual Jersey Choice Awards for Best Middle Eastern/ Turkish restaurant -"New Jersey Monthly". It was my cousin wedding. We looked almost everywhere in NJ for the right place and ambiance and finally we landed at Yasmeen. We met with Mike the owner and Basel the manager who is ruining the show.
Such great people. To be honest after 15 minutes talking we decided to leave everything in the 2 gentlemen hands. We felt that we can trust them and we felt strongly that they know what they are doing. The reception, the food, the belly dancer, the live music, and the service were outstanding. Yasmeen is our place from now on.

Absolutely amazing experience here! The food, the service, the ambiance - everything was perfect! Maria, Mo, and another gentleman (host) were so amazing and provided EXCELLENT service. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience and we are looking forward to coming back!!! Highly recommend!

This is one of my regular go to spots. It has a warm, homey, and elevated feel to it. Everyone is very friendly and the food is absolutely delicious. I'm pretty sure the food is home made because it tastes so fresh.
My personal favorites are the yasmeen fries, bourak with cheese, and lobster ravioli. You have to give it a try! Especially the bourak with cheese, sooooooo yummy! I always want to take a photo to share but it's so good I can't wait for the photo lol

The best lamb chops I ever had!! The rice was tasty. The avacodo salad was fresh and delicious. The meal overall was 4.5.The reason they are not getting a 5 star rating: no alcohol served, they kinda encouaraged you to sit outside, and they could be better when it comes to service. I had to ask for someone to serve us drinks and appetizers. Once the waiter came , he was really nice and attentive. Very welcoming and accommodating. I am definitely going back and everyone should try this restaurant, especially the lamb chops!

We were going to visit a brewery for an early afternoon Oktoberfest thing and wanted to find a lunch spot between home and there for before.
Chose Yasmeen since it was in the middle, had good reviews, and seemed to have a large decent outdoor eating area.
Glad we did! Area it's in is not great but the restaurant has great food. Seems family owned and operated (Syrian family) and while it's "Mediterranean" it's not generic flavors.
Burek app was very good. Light flaky dough outside, good cheese inside, not greasy or heavy. Wish I had more of them right now :P

We had a great experience dining at this venue in the heart of Clifton. The food, place, and staff were amazing and tremendous. This is a go-to spot for middle eastern cuisine with a Syrian - Lebanese twist
Food was delicious, not greasy, and enough in portion size. Try the grape leaves without meat, mixed grill, lamb chops, slush lemonade, and osmalia.
The inside and outdoor dining areas were well kept and spacious. The outdoor tent space can seat large groups or a party of two.
The staff led by Ali and Yahya did an exemplary job. It was a breath of fresh air to have knowledgeable and personable

I grew up in Syria and let me tell you. This place is it ! Outdoor seating is wonderful with the waterfall backdrop. I highly recommend the lamb chops , the chicken thigh chops , and the toshka. As a carnivore they delighted me all so juicy and flavorful . The flavor is authentic 100%. Everything they cook is golden .

Terrible. I was just there for a to-go order. I knew something was off when it came out in less than 10 minutes. I ordered two appetizers, one of them was burned and the other looked extremely unappetizing. I also asked for dates and they tiny white hair, not sure from what. My total was a little over $30 for an abysmal and unsatisfactory meal. Highway robbery.

So I've been here a few times during these strange pandemic times. Both times were great experiences so I'm sharing them here.
COVID precautions... as far as this, they don't seem very careful. The staff aren't all wearing masks or wearing them properly. They do have hand sanitizer upon arrival. They also scan you for a temperature check as you walk in. I just don't understand the lack of mask thing but whatever. You don't have to sit next to others as there is a lot of room in the restaurant, especially if you arrive on the early side like we did.

My friend works valet here and speaks so highly of the place so we went to eat here as a group of 6. I didn't know how packed this place gets or how big the property is. The outdoor seating is spacious! The food is above average compared to other Lebanese restaurants I've been to. I had the Chicken Shish and my girlfriend had the Chicken Chops. We both liked our food. The prices are comparable to other Lebanese places, but the overall vibe of this place was my favorite. Will be back again.

Excellent food, service and ambiance! It was our first time here. With the current situation with COVID-19, the outside dining was arranged with care, all servers wore mask at all times. Very friendly and courteous staff, the food was flavorful and tender; desserts scrumptious! Osmalieh was such a divine dessert - a must try!
