Tar Heel Tire was founded in 1965 by Eddie Clayton. He had a history of experience in the industry, and decided to try a store of his own. It really worked out, as you can see with over 54 years serving the Warrenton area. Although Eddie is no longer with us, his commitment to excellent work and high customer satisfaction will remain with this shop for many years to come.

This is probably the most honest repair shop I have dealt with in the last 40 years. Located in a small rural town in central NC, their reputation has to be perfect because of the limited number of customers available. Practically everyone is repeat customer. They are friendly, fast, and almost family. AAA+++

Knowledgeable and impressively professional mechanics crew.
These are clearly seasoned and experienced pros. Not a bunch of kids leaning on brooms as is the norm in most garages.
No haggling to worry about as their pricing is reasonable and I imagine because they are so efficient, their labor costs are kept at a minimum allowing them to turn out more business faster.
Great business with friendly folks.
