Thank you so much for taking care of us today. What great service! We were stranded with two little kids the day before Thanksgiving. Kimberly personally picked us up and brought us to the shop where everyone took good care of us. The team had us out on the road again by noon. Meeting Molly and Honey was an extra treat. We were staying at Lake Gaston Campground in our Winnebago and the check engine light came on. The camp host the campground recommend Lake Gaston Auto and RV Repair. When I called them on Monday, they had me bring my RV in and the code was read. They were able to get the part in by Thursday and had it installed on Friday and got us back on the road. They went the extra mile to get us going, were very professional and easy to work with.

Nice folks. They take care of folks who are traveling. We called before we went. They let us know they would take a look and let us know how long it would take. We had the part, just needed it replaced. Whole process took about an hour and I got to play w/ their labradootle puppies. Just another blessing on our travels across the country. Thanks again!

I had my Phaeton RV towed there. Big mistake. After six weeks they said I was good to go. Wrong. The ECM wasn’t programmed properly; The speedometer was reading 75 when the GPS said 60mph. I called Mark, the manager, he said bring it back and he’ll put it back on the machine. I was over an hour north and had already left it there for six weeks. I took my RV to Bohemia Freightliner who fixed the improper programing Mark at Gaston had done and paid the $618.72. I sent the bill to Mark at Gaston Lake Auto and RV. It’s been a month and no reply. They are the worst. Don’t bring anything there

Can not say enough good things about this company! While traveling home I evidently encountered some trashy diesel which clogged my filters. I could not have made it home without their help. I tried several others on I-95 that would not help me as I was in an RV and not a truck. I called Lake Gaston RV repair and was told they could work me in and help me get home. The staff was awesome and I was on my way home after only a short layover. To my total surprise I received a text from the owner, Mark, a day later asking if everything went well.

We have been using Lake Gaston Auto & RV for over a year now. We are from Texas, and working a job in the area on a 4 year contract. We live full time in our camper, and have had to make a few repairs to both the camper & our car. Using these folks has been the easiest, most convenient & price effective way to keep us on track. Imagine having your RV's roof blow off on I-95! No problem when Lake Gaston Auto and RV comes to the rescue. The owner and his son quickly identified the reason the roof failed, stabilized the roof, and offered guidance for getting a replacement. In town camping. Truck battery died unexpectedly. I called and they said come on.got a jump start , drove there, and after a quick diagnosis replaced battery. Meanwhile I realized I had a bad tire on travel trailer. They ordered tire, scheduled a trip to campground to replace. Mission accomplished!

Stayed at a local campground and brought my vehicle for a second opinion for possible transmission failure. Everyone was very cordial and professional. The mechanic brought my vehicle in for no more than 5 minutes then backed it out and came in and stated “it’s too hot for me to check the fluid or anything”…from what the dealership told you I would say that you need a new transmission. I asked for an estimate to have the transmission done with them, only to wait close to two hours while they tried to find the part and waited on all other customers that came in or called. Had an emergency situation today as my Town n Country starting smoking under the hood while I was just over the border in Virginia on I95.
Brought it in for them to evaluate Nd they determined it was the coolant y- connector that sprung a massive leak.
They ordered the part and had it deliver within hours abs fixed my car before end of business day today.
I highly recommend this repair shop for all of your car repairs etc.

My wife and I would like to thank Lake Gaston Auto & RV Repair for a great job on our campers suspension. We had ordered an upgrade that they installed. They made reasonable promises with what they did and showed great hospitality and professionalism. The shop apparently empower the employees and they show that in the quality of work done. Buyer Beware! On October 15th i had an issue with my 5th wheel trailer and the camp site where we spent the previous evening recommended Lake Gaston RV repair just down the road. The folks at the camp site called ahead so make sure they could help with an electrical issue in my trailer. As I got there the took me in immediately and began diagnostics. After an hour or two they concluded the inverter had failed and needed replacement. This is where I got in trouble. They told me it had to be ordered and the cost is $693.00. They wouldn't tell me the part number or where they were getting it

I Paid $100 to have check engine code read it took 15 minutes they told me it was a mass airflow sensor that was bad and it would cost $216. For the part I went down the street to advance autoparts, bought one for $85 It made no difference. Got it checked for free at the part store they told me it was a coil pack i bought a coil pack put it in. Problem solved. $185. Wasted BEWARE

We are doing an USA tour in our RV. In MI I spent a day placing calls to RV places including Good Sam. Everyone said they would call me back. Never heard a word back. And I gave a two week window. So we drive on. While in Williamsburg, I knew that I was at 5,000 miles. So I started calling. 3 hours later Lake Gastonia Auto and RV told me they will fit me in. They never asked me if I was a customer or anything. Just drop it off. THANK YOU
