Joan was a graduate of St. Ann's School (class of 1944) and later graduated from Hornell High School (class of 1948). In 1951 she graduated from the St. James Mercy Hospital School of Nursing. She later attended the University of Rochester and also Geneseo State College. She was employed as a Registered Nurse for several years at the former Mt.
Geff grew up in Waverly and was a graduate of Waverly High School (class of 1966). He was a Veteran of the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict, serving his country from 1968 - 1970 as a Commissioned Warrant Officer. Following his Honorable Discharge from the Army, Geff resided in Hackansack, NJ and was employed as a Grocery Store Manager.
