Le Jardin on Park is a historic home and gardens. We are located in the heart of charming Riverside, in Jacksonville, Florida. The home was built in 1921. The owner, Michael Myatt, worked with the preservation society to maintain the original design and character of the home. With the careful eye of a photographer, Michael created a beautiful space.
There are so many opportunities for beautiful portraits. The front porch has a swing and white rocking chairs, the gardens and the gazebo provide a lovely, natural backdrop for many happy memories. Services
A wedding is one of the most celebrated days of one's life. Generations of family members and friends gather together to witness the celebration of marriage. All couples are beautiful! We are LGBT friendly. Some nervously exchange wedding vows while others laugh throughout the entire ceremony. It is a time for the exchange of wedding rings and to declare a lifelong commitment to the person they cannot live without.
One of my most pleasant experiences was having the opportunity to study floral design in Paris, France. All of my designs are created exclusively for the individual needs of my clients. I listen to ideas, flowers desired and the vision they have. We consult images collected from online, magazines etc. Together, we develop a plan for the perfect flowers.

My experience in dealing with the business owner, Michael Myatt, has always been positive. She clearly states what is or isn't possible and explains the reasons why something cannot be done. In most cases she is able to work with the client to find a suitable compromise that is acceptable to both the customer and the business. During these tough pandemic times it is refreshing to work with someone who will work to find acceptable solutions instead of simply saying no. If you are looking for an event venue that can work with you I highly recommend "Le Jardin"!

Do yourself a favor and heed the bad reviews! This lady is absolutely nuts and ruined our event. She has absolutely no business owning a venue. The place was cute, reasonably priced, and exactly what we were looking for so I chose to overlook her bad stories that she divulged about past guests/events and book it. I could write a four page letter about everything that occurred, but would rather not relive that nightmare. I %100 would NOT recommend!! If I could leave negative stars I would. Bottom line, DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS BUSINESS. It is ran by a woman who is self-absorbed, rude, and elitist. The owner, Michael, is pushy and inconsiderate of those who give her business. She will ruin your event and waste your time and money. Initially, I went with Le Jardin because of the price, location, what seemed to be a helpful and friendly business owner. I had no idea that I was actually being manipulated into signing a contract with someone who will try to take over your party, tell you she doesn't like your ideas

With COVID limiting available options for places to hold a holiday/end of the year celebration for more than a handful of people, we were fortunate to find Le Jardin on Park. We were able to setup catered food and desserts while also ensuring an area for people to grab and pour drinks while enjoying the bonfire and open air patio.
We had music indoors and outdoors, seating in both places as well, and the yard was decoratively lit, which made for a great photo op in the arch way. All in all, it was a great ending to a really chaotic year, and we were thankful for all the hard work that went into

Almost been married for a year and haven’t received my pictures that were taken by her . Every time I actually get to question Michael and show up at the venue unexpectedly bc she never answers or returns phone calls ... she has a sorry excuse of why there’re not done .. I would never use her ever again . When you get married one of the most important things are the pictures to look back at and she has stolen that from Me ! How can you do that to anyone??? I recently attended an event at Le Jardin On Park. This is my new favorite place. The backyard was perfect for our cocktail reception. There were strings of lights and fire pits that made it festive. Inside was beautifully finished with a neutral palette that hosted our table decor beautifully. I found the entire space to be charming.

I got married here 7 years ago and had a gorgeous wedding. The reception was an awesome dance party. They helped me plan everything: food, photos, flowers, music, which songs to play when. Michael is a god send for those looking for a beautiful wedding with very little hassle.

My husband and I were in a bind because we rented a house for our wedding. Then, the owner sold the house three weeks before. We looked everywhere for a venue that would allow us to set up on Friday and take down on Sunday. We found Le Jardin on Park two weeks before the wedding date. We were soooo excited!
