So I normally get prescriptions through another member of this chain, WInnetka in Woodland Hills, California. Since COVID started they have been harder to get a hold of but they have always been excellent. When they neglected to refill a prescription (and ran me out) I tried to contact them.
Called them, no answer, mailbox full. Automatically transferred to an attendant that told me it did not get my message without ever giving me the chance to speak one in. I tried this numerous times.
Finally I called "The mothership", Southside, to find out if they had closed down. Their main number

This is a pharmacy that provides the lowest quality service and intentionally overcharges its customer with no shame. My doctor wrote a prescription for a glucometer, test strip, and lancet and this pharmacy filled only test strip, lancet, and alcohol swab with no glucometer unit I asked for it. How could a customer checks the blood sugar without a glucometer. This is a common sense that every pharmacist needs to know but not the Southside pharmacist! This is the first time I used this pharmacy and it would be the last time. After the insurance claim was settled, the copay should be $5.43 but

This pharmacy delivers medication to my home that is temperature sensitive. The medicine is supposed to be delivered in a styrofoam box with cold packs to ensure the medication does not exceed a specific temperature. There have now been TWO TIMES in which the ice packs were thawed out and NOT COLD. This company is toying with my health and my livelihood. Please take my advice and do not use this company for your medication delivery. They make serious mistakes every single time my medicine is delivered (and I have had over 10 deliveries). As far as I'm concerned, the carelessness and complacency

Do not use this pharmacy! At least not this location. They need to get their stuff together. Staff doesn't know what they're doing sometimes and misinform you. Some of them are rude and don't know how to talk to people. They just try to rush you off and don't look at the notes thoroughly. They always give you the same lie that they tried to call you but they never do and they're absolutely slow! You will not get your prescriptions on time! Thank god for other competitive pharmacies. Never using this pharmacy again.

The absolute worst pharmacy experience EVER! It's been 4 weeks since I dropped off my prescription. At first it was stated they couldn't read the prescription and had to contact the doctor and was awaiting a response. Okay fine. Now we are at the beginning of week 5, with numerous instances of being on hold, having to explain over & over why I was calling to each person that picked up and them questioning me as to "did I call the right pharmacy as I was not in the system?" Hunh? I've been there at least 3 times to check on my prescription. Finally, someone with

Basically , I've had great service at the Main street location, however there is one cashier that should not work the front desk. She really makes the whole store appear negative. Upon entering the store , it appears that this cashier is being inconvenient because she has to assist customers. She never smiles, never says good morning or good evening, just can I help you. Even if you speak to her first, she says nothing. Being courteous shouldn't be that difficult when you are providing customer service. I have tried to speak with the manager, but to no avail. Somebody please let

My travel clinic doctor recommended this pharmacy to get my rx filled for the typhoid "vaccine" pills in preparation for travel to Africa. My normal pharmacy did not carry this drug, nor did they offer to order it. Southside obtained the Rx within 48 hours and called when it was ready. I'd recommend them for hard to find Rxs.

I don't usually comment on Yelp but definitely use it as a reference guide. I was shocked to see the negative responses because my experience was totally the opposite of the one star reviews. I was in need of an antibiotic and Walgreens politely told me not covered by my insurance, and if I chose to pay it would be $7,000. I hurriedly called Walmart who reduced it to $3,000. My infectious disease physician recommended Southside and the pharmacist and his staff worked things out with insurance the very same day as I called and I paid $10.00, my insurance copayment. In addition, Rahit, even

STAY AWAY!!! Every single experience I've had with this company has been negative!I I arrived for a scheduled appointment with the RN/ DON and was made to wait over an hour and half before she would even see me. Not only that, but she had this know-it-all, smug personality to go with every comment she made. Almost every time I've called, the person at the other end speaks to me as if I'm a bother, or like every day is a bad day for them!

I recently switched insurance companies and because of that I've had to switch pharmacies as well. I settled on Southside Pharmacy because it was a pharmacy that seemed convenient and not too out of the way. I wish I had listened to my instincts when I first called the pharmacy to see if they accepted my insurance, as that was a headache in and of itself. I must have been transferred four different times on that initial call. When I was able to speak to someone, either I couldn't understand them or I had been transferred to the wrong person because they didn't know how to answer

I've been waiting for three weeks for a Rx; and have contacted my doctor's office multiple times to see why I haven't received it yet (the doctor's office is above the pharmacy so they are supposed to be tracing the Rx down). I trie to call the pharmacy 8 am Saturday to find out the pharmacy isn't even open today.

Is it possible to give zero stars? Terrible customer service. No name tags so you don't know who to say gave you poor customer service. They told me they would call me when a prescription was available. They didn't. The rude girl at the front acted as if it was an imposition to take my money. After waiting approximately 15 minutes to pay for the prescriptions they had filled, I was still unable to pay as the only register was malfunctioning.
