I highly recommend A Hug Away Home health to anyone. My grandfather was admitted to their service 2 weeks ago and we are seeing big improvements in him that surprised us. From talking with Chela from the beginning to coordinate his care, to seeing his interactions with his physical therapist, Megan, and occupational therapist, Charmaine, I am truly impressed. He has been walking hunched over for several years, and in as little of 2 weeks, he’s able to stand straighter and do little things that we take for granted such as showering ourselves. A Hug Away was awesome in helping with my wound care needs. They were always available and even made sure I had supplies to use if I needed them.
If I am ever in need of home care in the future, I would be glad to be cared for by A Hug Away.
Jazmine was my nurse and she was always there at the time she promised and she was excellent at communicating with me about the time of my visits. Give her a raise or buy her a steak dinner. She deserves it.

Erica is so helpful! I needed a medical appliance that was held up for various reasons with another group I had been dealing with for 2 months. I switched to A Hug Away and over the next month, she worked with the doctor’s office and guided me until the process was complete. I set everything up to have my sister in hospice at my home at this location. I felt comfortable at first because I met Ms Wanda who is the Hospice nurse and a total sweetheart. She helped me through the starting process and it was very easy to set up. We were to have a hospice assistant for 24hrs starting the same day my sister came to my house. The assistant that showed I felt was nice, however as the hours went by I realized she felt overly comfortable at my house. Within two hours of her being there, she had taken her wig off and had it laying at different parts around my house, then made herself

Do not use these people for in home hospice. Our experience was they were very unorganized and did not have enough staff to properly care for my dad. He got pneumonia and didn't come out for several days because of staffing issues. This was serious for a man in his condition. I was extremely disappointed and felt helpless. He was one of their first hospice patients, so no track record to speak of. We switched to Silverado and were much happier.
