3 stars. I was very excited to eat here for my birthday. We sat down immediately however it took over 25 minutes before we could even get water. We had to physically get up and find someone to take our order. We were told they are short staffed but never once saw a manager walk the floor. I wanted to order calamari and shrimp as an appetizer and was told they ran out. I have never heard of such a thing. We sat down at 6 didn't get our appetizers until around 730 and finally dinner at around 830. The food was decent but by that time we were all mentally checked out. I would like to try this place

Amazing service and amazing food!
Food always taste better when you there is great personnel. We ordered the steak and chicken tikka. The steak was cooked to perfection and the chicken was so moist! The staff was attentive, nice, and helpful! The atmosphere was positive and the decor was elegant. They also practice covid safety protocol, making sure to seat all guests at least 6 ft apart.
Highly highly recommend!!!!

Don't let the outside appearance fool you. This used to be a diner but is now a fabulous restaurant with an elegantly eclectic menu with equally superb drinks. I've been here twice now and both times ordered two different dishes. Both were amazing. For drinks I recommend the blackberry Collins or the pineapple mai tai. The chicken tikka or chicken Milanese were delicious. I highly recommend this place and will be returning.

From the outside it looks like an old diner (which it probably was once). Once inside it has a very modern motif with a bar. There is a hint of curry in the air. There is lots of nice seating. The staff was very curious and polite. The menu has all kinds of options but it's not huge. The is no defined category of cuisine they serve. They have all kinds of dishes but have a good amount of vegan options. Also gluten free. The food we ordered was fantastic. Great value for the price.
Overall a great place to eat in Newburgh.

This bistro serves contemporary dishes with a touch of Indian spice. We came here for dinner. The interior is actually really nice. Modern & inviting. Menu is simple to read and they have a large drink menu. We ordered a shrimp dish and a braised short rib dish as our main entrees plus 2 apps. The portions are large so you will not go home hungry.
There is a Yelp promotion going right now which makes this restaurant quite affordable for lunch or dinner.
Service is a little slow but we still enjoyed our meal. It's worth another visit.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Orange Hill Global Bistro. An elegant setting, attentive waitstaff and outstanding food. Our table of 5 had 5 different dishes, 2 fish(swordfish and salmon), 1 shrimp creole, short ribs and a signature vegetable risotto plus a mushroom bisque soup. The flavors were so rich, intense and well balanced. Every plate was clean at the end of the meal. Reasonably priced. The complementary mini flan dessert
was delightful.

What a GREAT experience in my town. Wow. This place used to be a diner. Well NOT ANYMORE. THIS PLACE IS AWESOME. A friend told me about it. My wife and I went on a Friday evening. Abi, our server was great. The food was awesome and delicious. Ambience wonderful. I had Lamb Samosa to start.... delicious. For my main entree Scallops and Shrimp on Risotto. Wow. Wow. Our dinks were delicious and it was overall a great dining experience. Will be going back for sure. By the way the presentation of the food was smooth and exquisite.

These people know what they’re doing. My compliments to the chef and cooks. On point! Staff is great, very friendly and attentive. We ordered the Thai mussels which were so good. My boyfriend had the scallops and shrimp with risotto, I had the scallops with cauliflower mash. Divine. I feel my dish was so complex in the best way and the flavors played so well together! We also had a side of Brussels with bacon. Had a maple sauce which my boyfriend thought was a little too sweet but I dig it. Eat here, you won’t be disappointed.

Nothing 5 stars here if your used to eating in nyc. The food was good and priced correctly but under seasoned, the orange hill salad was such a let down. Very sad since it’s a salad. The plating was great. Really nice presentation, just needs more acid/salt. The staff was nice but not experienced. The menu was also confusing… Indian-Italian-Mexican-American-ish. Choose top max and run with it!

We were looking for an early dinner, and saw on yelp that this place was open.
There were only a couple of cars in the parking lot, but the sign on the restaurant said it was open.
We parked, went in, and was greeted by someone who clearly was flustered to have encountered actual customers.
We asked if they were serving dinner, and was told it would be about 20 minutes. It was after 4:00, and clearly too late for lunch.
If you are not going to be serving food between lunchtime and dinnertime, then say so on your website.
We left, and went somewhere else that was actually open when they said

I can't rave enough about this place. It looks like an old diner from the outside, tucked out of the way off the main action at the crossroads of 17 & 300. Inside is beautiful, with a cozy bar, and a casual dress environment. They have a small but decent wine/beer list, a great array of liquor choices (especially Scotch, Bourbon, and Whiskey), and a few craft draft selections. The menu has nice twists from the normal items found in town, pulling from Thai & Indian influences (like lamb samosas & different curry infused dishes) with excellent spice pairings that really make the dishes sing. What a vast, interesting menu Orange Hill has to offer! Imagine you’re in the large space of the former Neptune Diner, but the decor is now clean, modern, chic style. The cocktails are delicious and current trend reflective. The menu is an Asian, Middle-Eastern fusion style with new, fresh twists on some traditional meals. I have a rare turmeric allergy and our waiter was able to quickly, confidently speak to several menu items that would be excluded for me. Dessert pear was delicious. Creme brûlée trio looked amazing and lots of validating expressions coming from the table next to us. We will

The food and the service was very good. Started with the lamb samosa and got the cauliflower steak for an entrée. My partner got the stuffed portobello. The flavors were incredible. Food and drinks are well priced.
The outside of the building looks like a diner but the inside is chic and nicely decorated. Definitely recommend and will come back for more.
Also, we got to watch the Olympics while dining so that was cool.

Phenomenal & friendly service, pretty dining room, & amazing food! We are traveling from Arizona to drive the East Coast and the food is unique and very fresh. I had the grilled swordfish and the red wine fused pear and it's some of the best I've ever had and I lived in Hawaii for 20 years. My family of 4 all enjoyed their experience as well. They make their cheesecake in-house and is super fresh. On our drive back we stopped for the Sunday brunch and it was amazing as well.

I'd give this place more stars if I could!!
This was my first time eating here. I had just picked up my wife from work and we were looking for some place to grab dinner. We called ahead to confirm that the Kitchen was still open because another restaurant had turned us away because it was too late ( even though there was still a hour left before their official close time ). They agreed to accommodate our late arrival. We were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the inside is. The service was excellent and our dishes were absolutely delicious! I had the Chicken Tikka, my wife had the Mango
