As a trainer, we need to keep our knowledge up to date and have a solid background to rely on. Found in 2012. Our fitness program is designed for mature adults who want greater health and better physical function to stay fit and active for the long haul. We want to help you with one simple thing: we want to make sure you have the health you need to stay active, independent, and to keep chasing your dreams, experiences, and even your grandchildren, at any age!
This individualized one-on-one training program is tailored specifically for you, to help achieve your desired results. Private training is encouraged if you have injuries, specific goals or you need a corrective exercise program. We offer a complimentary Fitness Appointment with our master trainers to determine a baseline of your current physical state, identify your fitness goals and discuss a plan on how to achieve those goals.

We've only just begun!!!!! My pictures shown here is better than a thousand words. I am an tax accountant and I started with Toby's training on Jan 2nd 2021. It was so hard to squeeze out that 1 hour. It is amazing how 1 hour per week with Toby made a huge difference in my body. I am in my mid 50's and I told her that my goal is to be able to sit down on the floor and be able to get up without rolling my body on the side to stand up. I have been a client of MUV for several years--initially referred by my physician. The instructors have been terrific!! Each session is different and I have improved my flexibility, balance and range of motion and increased my strength and endurance. This is designed for older adults including seniors. Toby is knowledgeable, keeps track of your progress and shows you how to do additional activities at home. I highly recommend MUV!!!

I love this kind of small group training. All instruction is tailored to your fitness level but builds you up to the next level safely. The instructors are spot on with their expertise in fitness training. They make sure you don't injure yourself by matching you up with the right weights and they don't yell at you when you need to rest. They encourage you every step of the way. BTW they don't let you slack off either. It is NOT boring but a lot of fun working out with people in the same boat as you just trying to stay fit. I would highly recommend this to anyone just starting

She is knowledgeable, certified with a background in kinesiology, massage therapy, and athletic training. Meaning she knows the body and can help you reach your fitness goals. I love the personal service from MJ! Whether training from through private training or through group training you get the attention you need to improve your body. MJ knows how to work your body and strengthen your "weaknesses" I know from experience that I have made strides in strengthening my lower back and knees. She also has a way to relieve the knots you have in your muscles. I have ways to help relieve my aching heels. You will get top notch service.

MJ was recommended to me by my physician as I was progressing in my weight loss program and needed to set my sights on building muscle. I have been so pleased with my experience in twice weekly private personal training sessions. MJ varies the routine each session so that all muscle groups are engaged and she seems to know just how much is able to be tolerated in order to maximize the workout. Her studio facility is easy to find with parking provided and, at the end of each session, as she is also certified in massage, we finish with a mini-massage--can't be beat!!

I have been coming to MJ and this studio for years and it's because she is the best! I love the small group training - every day is different which makes the workouts fun. I've been able to lose weight, build muscle, improve my balance, and make friends. The staff is very welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. MJ has cured me of many chronic aches and pains. I would recommend this place to people of all levels of fitness!

MJ is a total delight - enthusiastic, knowledgeable, friendly and very encouraging. I am so grateful to of found this class. I have a 30 year old knee injury but after just 3 weeks I feel totally safe under MJ's guidance. The small group classes allows her to alter the exercises for people with injuries. I would really encourage people to give these classes a try.
