Stay September 2021
Overall the place is very worn and in desperate need of a lot of basic repairs. Torn carpets in some rooms, peeling paint, holes in walls and ceilings that need filling and touch up paint. I could go on and on. Place has a feeling of neglect.
Some staff were rude and easily agitated when confronted with issues like key cards that were no longer working after just one day because they weren't prepared correctly.
Old worn out furniture - desk legs were loose and wobbled, top was damaged with chipped paint, bathroom vanity cabinet had water damage on side, shelf area

This place is severely run down and in disrepair. The hotel room I was given was so unacceptably poor (see pics) I immediately turned around and asked for a refund. After being promised a refund by the front desk employee I was then stonewalled on said refund and had to file a dispute with my credit card issuer. (I would later find out that only the owner had "authority" to issue refunds, however he was rarely on-site and seldom answered the phone when employees called him.)
There are far, far better options in town for similar rates. This place is way past its prime and the owners

I’m a straight male that enjoys clothing optional resorts but I’m also single so that makes going to the straight coed place difficult sometimes. That being said, I actually enjoy staying at the Canyon Club. The staff is friendly. The patrons are friendly. The weather is beautiful. The rooms are a bit old and out dated but when you spend most of your time sunbathing, swimming, or in the hot tub, it doesn’t matter. When I am in the room, it’s not uncommon to leave the door and window open to welcome anyone walking by to come in and say hello. On one stay, 2 guys walked in while I was taking

Stayed here with a friend the place could use a good cleaning and or updating. I was ok with that, I knew it wouldn't be a five star hotel but I did not expect the outcome of my unfortunate mishap. After checking out of my room I made it all the way home to realize I had left my wallet in the nightstand next to the bed. When I checked out I closed the door and secured the room so I figured I would just call the front desk and let them know I left my wallet in the room and I would go back and pick it up. I called the front desk and explained my situation and I was told the room had been

The place needs some work, but the staff and the vibe from the other guest make you quickly forget that. They were actively working on the place in the evenings (the night manager was painting one of the buildings). Went for a big birthday weekend with a friend. Had the best time. Really friendly crowd and nice grounds. Met some really nice guys, and enjoyed every minute. The restaurant next store is really convenient as well. Will definitely be returning.

I had a great impression of the place the one time I was there. Not packed at the time, but a few good company were almost always out and about in the courtyard or the hot tub (which was nice and warm and bubbly I should add). Rooms were perfectly decent enough and all face the center courtyard. Privacy if you want it in the rooms. All in all, a good sexy vibe and inviting premises.

I mean, it's fine. It's rough around the edges but whatevs, sometimes a stay in the desert ain't for sissies. Here's what is the MOST annoying thing , in every room I've stayed in there are no outlets easily accessible while laying in bed. The outlet that the bedside lamps are plugged into is buried somewhere way behind the bed in like, the middle. No way to be on your phone while it's plugged in. This is a fundamental amenity that this place can't provide. Get it together. Otherwise. I've always met nice guys here. And I'd literally all you want to

I loved staying here. The staff was extremely nice and friendly. I would return just because of how nice the staff was. Even with the pandemic i was still able to have safe fun. My room was extremely clean and looked like it had just been remodeled. Had a big screen tv and a giant comfortable bed. Theres a nice Garden. Most of the other hotels like this in the area have a run down look. I was expecting this place to be like the others but was surprised at how nice everything looked. Cant wait to stay here again.

Oh hell no. Never again. Dirty, deteriorated and bad customer service. With so many amazing resort opportunities nearby why would anyone stay here. I tried it at the recommendation of someone with rose colored glasses. Perhaps in the day this place rocked but now it's a bag of rocks. Stay away and have a great experience elsewhere like Inndulge, CCBC, Desert Paradise or All Worlds.

It makes me sad to rate a place like this so low, especially since I have been coming here for years. When I first visited this resort years ago, I found it very charming, the other guests to be very warm and welcoming, and the amenities just nice enough to make it a pleasurable getaway experience. Over the years, the Canyon Club Hotel has fallen apart a bit with no apparent attempts to improve. The amenities appear to not be repaired but rather "band aided" so that they still sort of work. And for god sakes clean your hot tub Canyon Club! I am very hesitant to get into a hot tub

I had a wonderful stay here. Everyone who worked here was friendly. Everything was clean and neat. Bed was absolutely comfortable and the room was spacious very clean. The remotes are hard to figure out, but I'll chalk that down to the person trying to operate them... LOL. I only wish I could have stayed longer. I will definitely be back.

It's alright. The dry sauna hasn't worked in quite some time. The hot tub isn't so hot but its big and relaxing. They have decent parties. One of the owners has a bad habit of peeping into rooms at night. He peeks through the blindes. The gardens are nice. The maze it's fun to play hide-n-go seek. Over all it's a decent place considering the price.

I actually used to work here in 2002 under former ownership. I have to say that I am a bit disapointed. Understanding that the current owners have had the property more then 5 years as I understand it, I have found that not allot has changed. The room I am staying in has been painted, but the carpet is old and stretched out. The furniture is very warn, and the bathroom is dated. See the photo of the shower\tub. Other problems include a non working phone and no coffee pot in the room. I did not ask when I made the reservation about a coffee pot, I did not think, for $130 a night, that I would need

I think the most important things when you come to a resort in Palm Springs is the staff, the room, and the premises. All of the above are really good at the Canyon Club.
The Staff is genuinely friendly, and extremely welcoming (not in a creepy way). Always around when you need help, and attentive of the customers needs.
The rooms were somewhat dated; however its palm springs, and it has a strange charm to it. My room was fairly large, and even had its own private patio.
The premises are clean and properly maintained. The trees are groomed, the grass is trimmed, and for the desert it is very
