Carter Fitness was founded in 2014 in order to provide the people of Linwood, Mt. Lookout, Hyde Park, and all of Cincinnati with a place they can go to achieve results the right way. Our goal is to create a facility that delivers a supportive and welcoming community, premium exercise equipment, and amazing results!

Our founder, Jimmy Carter, has a passion for helping others learn how to exercise properly while achieving their goals and getting the results they desire. We make sure to implement the correct form and technique in every part of our instruction. Whether you're enrolled in a cardio session, a strength session, or Personal Training, you're going to receive the best instruction Cincinnati has to offer.

Our Personal Training program here in Linwood is specifically designed around each individual client's goals! And with our highly skilled trainers, you'll never find yourself without the accountability and support you need to achieve your dreams. We cut through all of the fad diets and workout regimes and provide you with the instruction and motivation to make changes that will last a lifetime!
Carter Fitness has created a unique and hands on training program in Linwood designed for fat loss and increased health and fitness. Clients are coached multiple times per week using a medley of HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), and resistance training in a small group format with anywhere from 8-15 people in each class.
If you're looking for the perfect "get fit fast" fitness class, you'll find it at Carter Fitness. That's because our unique cardio fitness and sports conditioning program leaves nothing to chance. Each of our rigorous fitness classes incorporate all the fat-burning, muscle building exercises and drills you'd expect alongside some of the best people you'll find in Cincinnati.
I've only been going for about a month, but I absolutely love the culture and positivity at Carter Fitness! Jimmy, Johnny, and Nate have all been super helpful! Carter is the best! Jimmy is an exceptional trainer & I really enjoy the fit classes with Nate, Johnny & Greg. Carter Fitness is a fantastic facility.

Jimmy, Nate, and Angela are all extremely motivating and knowledgeable trainers. I felt very comfortable from the moment I walked into the gym. The cardio classes are challenging in the best possible way, and I feel great after finishing. Strength training sessions are tailored to you, and Jimmy does a phenomenal job of correcting form and assisting with what weight you should be using to push yourself but not over-extend. The app makes the classes easy to schedule and fit into your calendar. The trainers are understanding but also hold you accountable for your own fitness goals. I can't wait to

Jimmy Carter is the best trainer in the city -- nay, ANYWHERE. And his team is equally elite. They have incredible knowledge of all things diet and exercise, and use that knowledge to apply an individualized approach to all clients' body types and fitness goals. There is no workout that can kick my butt quite like a Carter Fitness HIIT. Guaranteed you will get stronger, leaner, and healthier... and have a LOT of fun doing it!

Carter Fitness is hands down the best facility in the city. The coaches and community that you're surrounded by in this facility push you to see fast results and achieve your fitness goals.

They support all fitness levels and makes it fun to work out. Through their dynamic weightlifting programming I was able to compete in powerlifting competitions and be extremely competitive in my weight class, even placing at a couple meets. You get the results you want at carter fitness while meeting great people.

I have done the gym thing...treadmills, ellipticals, weight machines...on my own. Boring and slow...and usually lonely. Carter Fitness Fit AF and Strong AF classes are tough...they work us hard but we see results! The workouts are quick and effective...and I get to work out with the best group of people. Carter has changed the way I workout and motivated me for lifelong change!

I cannot say enough about how great Carter Fitness is! After trying most gyms in Cincinnati, I’ve not found any that provide near the efficient results, welcoming environment, and personal investment from the trainers in my health and progress that Carter Fitness does.
The owner, Jimmy, is amazing at what he does, taking the time to get to know every member and help them to achieve their unique goals.
I love that the Fit classes are quick but extremely effective, yet tailored to every fitness level. The InBody system is fantastic to help track your progress and see how your muscle:fat ratio

This is the best gym in Cincinnati! Jimmy has really outdone himself with putting it together and has a wide variety of equipment available to use. He's very informative and truly knows his stuff.

The FIT AF classes are the real deal. 30 minutes of high intensity interval training that kicks your butt and quickly puts you in good shape! There are also so many more options and exercises than Orange Theory can offer. AND Carter's monthly unlimited plan is half the price of OT.
