Intimacy (sex) therapy is often, if not always a part of couples counseling. Couples Counseling helps partners feel emotionally connected with each other, while intimacy therapy enhances both emotional and physical intimacy. When couples struggle with physical intimacy, it may be caused by fears of rejection, inadequacy, miscommunication, resentment, past history of trauma, feeling exhausted and overwhelmed.

I've had lots of therapists (at least 10) over the years but none have helped to bring more positive changes to my life than Anjelika. She is very present, compassionate, and empathetic. She draws from her vast knowledge base to connect with the real issue at hand. She quickly yet lovingly helps to direct me towards a path to a resolution.
Advise to newcomers, bring a notebook and a pen. Come prepared with as much clarity about your issue as you can. Focus on what's upsetting you not who's to blame. Be honest. Anjelika can move fast (I like her pace) if you are ready to. Come with an open mind

Anjelika is a fantastic counselor. She's very positive and emotionally intelligent and insightful probably due to her many years of experience being a couple's counselor.
I also want to say that her place of business is lovely. It's a cozy sort of den setup with comfy couches, soothing incense, water and tea, and plenty if tissues within reach! She creates a very welcoming environment to open up about your feelings. It's tough to be vulnerable if you aren't comfortable, but she provides comfort in spades!

Anjelika is one of the most incredible humans I know. She has a beautiful soul and is so generous in sharing her heart. Ms. Layco is such a caring and empathetic therapist. She always goes above and beyond the call of duty, and in the years I worked with her, she was known to be an extremely skillful and successful therapist, who could reach clients other therapists couldn't.
