We provide couple's counseling, individual counseling, and premarital counseling - both in person and via telehealth. Whether you are having difficulty relating to yourself, your spouse, partner, family, or co-workers, we can help. I am passionate about relationships, both those we have with our spouses, partners, families, and friends and the one we have with our self.
I see healthy relationships as foundational to healthy lives. In therapy sessions, I help couples and individuals experience life more fully. This means identifying strengths, learning new skills to productively deal with difficult life experiences, finding hope, addressing trauma, and discovering new approaches to assist in your growth.

Services
I am consistently regarded as a warm and compassionate therapist who brings authenticity to our work together. My desire is to provide a safe, non-judgmental place for you to be heard and feel cared for. I create space for you to learn more about yourself and your spouse or partner, find hope, and discover new approaches to have deeper and more satisfying relationships.
If you are unable to make your appointment, please call or text Heather at 360-217-0752 or email her at heather@experiencelifecounseling.com as soon as you know you will be unable to make it. There is no fee to cancel or reschedule an appointment more than 24-hours before the start of your appointment, simply contact us and let us know.
The first step is to contact me! We will then schedule a free phone consultation so I can find out about your needs, how I can help you, and you can get to know me a little bit more. Payment is due at the beginning of each session. I accept cash, check, credit cards, flex spending accounts (FSA), and health savings accounts (HSA).
Whether you are having a hard time communicating, resolving conflict, blending a family, or dealing with betrayal, there is hope for your relationship. I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy which goes beyond the traditional rehashing of the past and behavioral changes often found in couples counseling and works on strengthening the emotional bonds between you.
Regardless of the difficulty you are experiencing, I want you to know that you are heard and cared for. I use a variety of approaches when working with individuals depending on your needs; these include EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy for Individuals, and Interpersonal Neurobiology, to name a few.

Heather is a fantastic therapist, and I could not recommend her highly enough. She is warm and empathetic, but she's also honest and able to challenge at just the right times. She knows what works and what doesn't, and is always wanting to adjust to what clients need so she can be as effective as possible. You're in very capable hands with Heather!
