12.30.21 I was given this massage as a gift from my students and it was hands down the best massage I have ever had. I have had massages at a variety of places (chains, vacations, spas, cruise ships ect) and this was the first one that actually targeted the tight areas of my body. I felt safe and secure, even in these days of Covid. John Gavin follows all the safety protocols of mask wearing and sanitizing. The room has a nice ambiance and John really knows his stuff. I could barely move my neck when I went in for a 90 minute treatment. He spent the whole time focusing on my back, neck and shoulders. Rose and John took care of my wife and myself for a couples message before our vacation. They were extremely kind, attentive, and provided an excellent massage. I've been to several massages but my wife has never gone before. I purchased an Amazon Local deal for a couple's massage here many months ago. The scheduler is entirely online and a bit clunky to use. The times were somewhat limited and it took us awhile to find a time that worked. And then, when the massage was only a few days away, I got a call saying that they'd have to cancel. Wicked bummer. The place is small but very clean and neat. My only gripe is I like oil and he uses lotion. He has several fragrances of lotion to choose from as well. I usually get cold with lotion but he heated it up for me, he might have made me believe in lotion again!
The pressure was very consistent and John identified problem areas that I was not even aware needed work until he touched them. It was a true 1 hour massage. The online form was a great touch as was the hot towels
