Karen Schoenfeld graduated from St. Johns University School of Law in New York City. After working on Wall Street, she moved to Portland, Oregon to pursue her life's passions. Spencer Aldrich is a Midwesterner born and raised, but is proud to have called Oregon home for the better part of 10 years. After growing up in Columbus, Ohio, and obtaining his B.A at Miami University, he came west. At Chapman, Mr. Aldrich discovered a passion for helping people. In addition to the "standard" law curriculum, he studied animal law, bankruptcy, and estate planning.

A good lawyer and a good person. I used him for my workers comp claim and found him and his assistant to be approachable, responsive and helpful. His many years of experience is very obvious. The Workmans Compensation process is arduous. There were many moments i remained calmer than i normally would, with his calm and knowledgeable approach to the process.
If you choose the WC journey, chooseing Spencer to partner with is an excellent choice.

After my auto accident, I was getting nowhere on my own dealing with the insurance companies. They had cut off my care and offered me next to nothing for my pain and suffering. I was overwhelmed with things I didn’t understand and had all but given up. Karen Schoenfeld turned that around on day one! They were always available for questions. I am so happy that I chose to get an attorney for my case against my own insurance company (USAA) that wasn't paying for my regular doctor visits after a car wreck for which I had no responsibility. Karen was incredibly on-top-of-it, staying in close touch about my preferences and answering all my questions thoroughly. My settlement went better than I could have imagined, and certainly better than if I had gone it alone. All of my bills were taken care of, and my providers were kept informed of all goings-on.
