Our program is owned and operated by sisters and business partners, Kim Grant and Jennifer Hawkins. With over 30 years of experience as an educator in the Field of Early Childhood Education and 9 of those years as Director of a prominent private preschool, it was a great excitement that we opened The Sunflower School in Roseville.

Services
It is our goal to provide children a fun and engaging preschool experience where they will have opportunities for success. It is our aim to develop the whole child and see to it that we foster their growth socially, emotionally, cognitively and physically. Using the thematic approach, the children will learn concepts, engage in hands-on activities and explore their learning environment.
We believe that children need an environment rich with new learning opportunities, where developmentally appropriate activities encourage skill development necessary for future learning success. We provide for the process of natural discovery in an atmosphere of play based activities. It is through these activities that the children learn to problem solve, negotiate and develop crucial social skills.
We feel very confident that our daughter will be well prepared for Kindergarten because of The Sunflower School. Not only has she grown both socially and academically, she looks forward to the days at school. They have taught her about character traits, such as how to have good manners and to be polite; reinforcing what we teach her at home.
