Modern furnaces can be as much as 40% more efficient than older furnaces, meaning that replacing your furnace will save you a fortune on your energy costs. The federal government has put standards in place for the minimum energy-efficiency of new furnace systems and often offers tax credits to help offset the cost of installation.
Summit Heating offers ductless air conditioning systems as a smart alternative to central, forced air systems. Known as a mini-split heat pump, these ductless systems offer energy savings, lower noise, personalized comfort, and advanced air filtration. They're an excellent option for remodels, room additions, finished basements, and as a supplement to existing HVAC systems.
An air handler, which is also known as the air handling unit (AHU), is a device built to condition air in the HVAC system. This unit is attached to a duct system that will deliver or remove air for distribution after its conditioning in the AHU. There are different kinds but they basically contain heating or cooling components together with a blower, filter racks or chambers, dampers, and sound attenuates.
A heat pump is a device that transfers heat from one place to another, from inside to outside or from outside to inside. In the winter a heat pump works like a heater, extracting heat energy from outside and transferring it inside. In the summer the process reverses and it will remove heat from your home and transfer it outside like an air conditioner.

We do plan to use Summit for a smaller job than first intended. Their rep Jeremy Blackheart did an excellent job presenting us with options for amending our current systems to provide air conditioning. I think if we were in need of replacing our furnace at this time (it's pretty much brand new) we'd likely have chosen Summit to do the job. They are an approved vendor for TPU's loan and rebate program.

I called the company, the person on the phone was very helpful I was given a quote and a furnace maintenance service appointment for a week later
the appoinment day came, I received a text from the company with the remainder and another one when the tech was on his way, He arrived was pretty easy forward explained the steps did his work and offered other services the company does for future references like water heater, electrical etc etc.
that was pretty much it, I'm very pleased with the company and would use their services again if I need them. Thank you very much Summit Heating & Air conditioning

Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality
The office person who took my call was very polite and helpful. The on-time tech, Brian, who performed the service call educated me on what was going on, what he did to fix it, and how to maintain my system. He also found ways to save me money during the service call, and I could not be more pleased with my overall expwrience.
