Location is a little tricky to find, definitely not much from the outside, and pay attention to figure out the parking lot. That being said, the food & service are exceptional, and the commitment to a great dining experience is clear from the moment you walk in until the moment you leave. Amazing bread & pasta, made fresh on-site. Make sure you get here, because it's oh so worth it.

I spotted La Perla driving north on Federal, and said "oh, THAT place looks cute." Still in the hunt for where to go for my birthday dinner, I looked it up on Yelp! FIVE STARS. "Ok, that's the place!" What a lovely, memorable, delicious, perfect dining experience. The burrata and prosciutto appetizer is SO delicious. We had two pasta dishes to die for--one gnocchi and the other a Norcina style pasta. Dessert was limoncello cake and panna cotta with mango sauce with a HAPPY BIRTHDAY message on the plate. Wow! Blown away. This place is a gem. Top notch service, the bread, pasta, desserts all made in house. I really don’t know what to say other than just WOW… Trust me when I say this place is amazing. Wonderful dinner with great friends. Lovely atmosphere, great menu, terrific service from our humorous waiter! Good bottle of wine, calamari w shrimp and octopus appetizers. We had chicken and eggplant parm, a veal dish, a short rib dish and a pasta dish.

Food is good service is good and very friendly . I really give them a five star on the food. It’s really the atmosphere and decor that ruins the place . It’s very dated , very banquet cold and stale . They missed the mark. They don’t have any background music playing or live entertainment . Which gives you the experience of a three star uninteresting experience . We had a great time but we brought that great time with us by our company that joined us not by the restaurant .

Place was very intimate. Only 11 tables. I counted. Lol. Great food. Great atmosphere. Great wine. The other patrons were so happy. Amazing energy! Great desserts. I'm a dessert guy! Everyone in here was not just enjoying the food, but each other's company. That says a lot. Just a great experience overall. This place won't disappoint.

10/27/21 Manuela and Leno are still making magic in Pompano Beach. Our waiter could not have been more accommodating We started with Manuela's stracciatella soup that had homemade tiny meatballs in it. Light, satisfying and delicious. For entrees I opted for the stuffed flounder special, it was stuffed with spinach and whole shrimp. Perfectly seasoned, and the fish was moist and delicate. My husband and I went to La Perla last night for dinner, we are here on our honeymoon and found this place on yelp. The moment we walked in we were amazed by the wonderful atmosphere and friendly faces. Our server Johnny was fantastic, gave us all the specials and answered all of our questions. Lino was very friendly and came over to our table to talk to us a few times. We even met a wonderful couple who recommended 2 amazing desserts to us. Overall the food was GENUINE ITALIAN CUISINE. It was amazing and we are for sure going to come back before we leave. 10/10!!!

Warmly greeted by a terrific staff. The evening started with a complementary bruschetta which was good. Next was the Caesar salad which was ok. I ordered the special Veal parm very nicely seasoned but unfortunately there was an abundance of sauce that overwhelmed the veal, my friend had the gnocchi nonna he said it was delicious. Overall food was four stars and service was 5 stars.

A hidden Gem, a Diamond in the Rough, Great Service & Excellent Food is what I received the night my Grandson and I decided last minute to stop in for dinner after a round of Golf at the nearby course across the street. We both ordered the Lobster Ravioli special and deserts to take home. Tiramisu & Torta di Nutella, everything was excellent. I will return soon. Free Parking in Back.

Such a dissapointment, I entered this restaurant with my family. I was immediately rejected from the restaurant, perhaps because I am Hispanic and everyone eating at this restaurant were white americans.
The waiter asked me if I had a reservation, we said no. The manager came from the back and rejected us because we didn't have a reservation. Needless to say inly 3 tables were taken.

We came in here since we were in the area and didn't know of any good restaurants. We saw that this restaurant had great reviews on Yelp so we decided to give it a try.
We were very impressed with the quality of the food here. This is authentic Italian food and it shows. They bake their own bread here and it's delicious. We went with their summer special menu, which brings one appetizer, two starters, two entrees, and one dessert. Everything we ordered was delicious and very well made.

Looking online and found this place with 5 stars and 100+ reviews so we decided to try it. I'm VERY happy we did. This place is authentic Italian owned by Italians owners. The bread basket came with a roasted pepper spread. They have a summer menu with a prefix price that's very reasonable. I got the strozzapreti alla Norcina and really recommend it. Was satisfied with every bite I took. The Nutella cake was very good also, will satisfy your sweet tooth. I will definitely be going back and have been recommending it to everyone of my friends.

This is our "keep coming back and can't get enough" place. It's by far the best Italian restaurant outside Italy! Trust me on that - I've spent years in Italy.
Everything is home made from scratch and you can see and taste that Manuela ( the chef) is not into compromise at all.
A fair warning: Eat here and you really won't want to frequent any other Italian restaurant.

Every once in a while we find a restaurant that leaves us searching for the appropriate superlatives. La Perla is just such a place. We had chosen another restaurant for an outing, but when we arrived it didn't excite us.
We happened upon La Perla by accident. What a happy accident it turned out to be. First, it is a nice room. The tables are large, the padded chairs are meant to be sat in for hours on end and we felt truly welcome even though there was just one spare table in the place.
The tables are laid with linens and silver, the waiters are professionals and were dressed appropriately
