POMPANO BEACH RESTAURANTS: Located in the quaint site where Giovanni Italian used to sit, The Hen & The Hog, a new restaurant in Pompano Beach, offers top-quality southern comfort food without the top-quality price. The restaurant boasts an impressive variety of foods such as flatbreads, sandwiches, platters of smoked meats and pulled-pork and an all-day breakfast menu.
When you first enter The Hen & The Hog, you are greeted with tables made from reclaimed wood and vintage Edison light bulbs are in every wall sconce and ceiling fixture. I was given the sensation of being in a wooden cottage in South Carolina that was given a modern facelift. A few custom signs, including the humorously decorated "Don't Go Bacon My Heart" adorned the wood-covered walls.

We came in and sat ourselves. No wait at all. Quaint little place. Very farm to table, and you can tell by the freshness in the food. Service was great, and the server was extremely friendly. The coffee was pretty good. We both had the eggs benedict, I had the classic and my wife had the Irish. The hollandaise sauce was delicious. We also had an order of banana and pecan pancake to share. It was pretty large and filling. I really enjoyed my experience here and would absolutely come back.

This place is awesome with delicious food, amazing unique menu great options for a walk and brush atmosphere with their country rustic look. Great staff and definitely ask for Barbie she’s a doll and just a very attentive & makes you feel at home and priority. Glad a friend that works at the dealership across the street told us about this place. Enjoy!

We were visiting from Orlando and wanted breakfast before hitting the beach and were so glad we found The Hen and the Hog! We loved the charming atmosphere that reminded us of our southern roots being from Alabama and Georgia! Our server, Barbie, was wonderful! She took great care of us, making great suggestions and checking in on our meal. The pigpen omelet was fantastic and I'm a big fan of the grits, home fries and yummy crispy bacon. Today's biscuit was a little dense but it could have been a bad batch so we'll give that another try. EVERYTHING else was great, including our mimosas. Great breakfast

If you are looking for a breakfast spot in Pompano Beach, you gotta give The Hen and the Hog a try. It is one of the best restaurants around. The service is great, and I have always been greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. But I must compliment the chefs. I have tried many different items from their unique breakfast menu. The Pig Pen, Irish Eggs Benedict, and The Pig and Waffle are some of my favorites, but I have never been disappointed with any of my choices. I have recently tried their breakfast skillet special, and I am very delighted to say it is a great way to start your morning

This place is AWESOME! For a random Google search, I couldn't have been happier! The food was absolutely delicious, I got the corned beef hash and eggs and my wife got the almond crunch French toast. 10/10 delicious! The mimosas and bloody Mary we drank were good too! When you go ask for Anne (spelling) she was super attentive and made sure everything was perfect!!
