I am writing this review for all parents whose children are dealing with mental illness, substance abuse or simply poor life choices. Our daughter came home from college last May after being gone for four years. Once she moved back into our home, we noticed drastic behavior changes. It was almost as if she was someone else and our loving, cheerful, and intelligent daughter was gone.

If they determine that you are in need of an assessment, a licensed professional will ask you about the concerns you are currently having as well as questions about your past medical and psychiatric history. If applicable, any drug and/or alcohol abuse will be addressed as well.

THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!
We recently moved to the Reno/Sparks area and a family member was feeling suasidal and this was all new to me. I did a GOOGLE search and found this place. Talked to a gentleman in the intake section and he was so kind and understanding of the situation. We went there and the intake nurse said this person will be staying there for a couple of days and told me they would have a room, have three meals a day as well as participat in group meetings daily and see a therapist daily.
I called everyday to check in and was told by the family member that the facility was very nice

I was in there around February of this year, and January of this year as well. I never got around to writing a review until now. I have a lot to say about this place. Both good and bad.
(Also to start out... I was in the Juvenile Unit 200 West, and 100 East my second visit)
For starters, 9/10 of the techs there are great. Encouraging, helpful, understanding, they listen to you, etc. There are a few whom I won't name names of that are overachievers, and are just there for the paycheck.
The nurses aren't good. Not a single one of the nurses I ever met would take the time to listen to me. Having

They got my pronouns wrong which made me upset. It is foolish for them to ask me for my pronouns and getting them wrong. I clearly stated what I go by, but they never paid attention to it. They claimed they fixed it, but they never did. According to them, they said it was a mistake or a typo.
I had an issue with the intake specialist since she would not let me be outpatient the first time I had arrived. Some staff members were extremely nice and cared for their job, which makes part of the stay welcoming. There was an issue with one of the late-night technicians since she would go to people's

My adolescent daughter didn’t receive the mental health care expected. This facility will discharge your child at the least bit of aggressive behavior displayed during the restraining period. They have a staff that apparently doesn’t understand the children with mental health issues maybe a little aggressive as they are often defiant. Since her stay she has been denied treatment because of this facility’s notations.

I'm very pleased to say, that the staff at RBH was very kind and knowledgeable about my conditions. I would totally recommend doing PHP and IOP, it definitely made a difference in my life. My biggest thing was realizing I wasn't alone and it's ok to not be ok, as long as you're doing something about it 🙂🙏😎

The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is top notch. Nick & Patricia are awesome leaders. They made me feel comfortable, made the program enjoyable, and they were incredibly knowledgeable. The other staff members are also very friendly, responsive, and caring. I looked forward to each group session and I greatly appreciate everything they did for me. I highly recommend this program.
