Discoveryland Christian Preschool is a pioneer in preschool education that was established in 1975. Our model of education is something called "True Education." Simply stated, this means engaging in the development of the whole child; specifically, their mental, physical, and spiritual growth. We recognize that each child is a unique, special, and creative individual of great value designed for a specific purpose by a loving God.
We want to know what the child thinks, feels, and wonders. By providing a wide variety of experiences and materials we further strive to allow each child to feel daily successes, a sense of accomplishment, and to attain spiritual insights. We seek to develop within each child feelings of uniqueness, positive relationships with their peers and adults, and promote social and emotional skills that lay the foundation for lifelong success.

Services
Our year-round curriculum offers 12 themed units, and provides a balanced education for your child at every level of early development. Your child will create journals and portfolios that create and encourage communication through drawing and writing. We also go beyond basic academics by instilling positive values that will lead to a lifetime of success and help them understand how God made our world and us.
Discoveryland Christian Preschool is more then just planning activities or lessons; our teachers' vibrant classroom culture focuses on relationship and inquiry. As educators, our principles begin with the simple truth that each child has a unique and individual character, worthy of respect. Our teachers are inspired to search for deeper and more complex meaning while working with our children.
DISCOVERYLAND provides a developmental preschool program with Christian values woven throughout. The classrooms, play areas, and curriculum are designed to encourage exploration and problem solving, personal creativity, personal responsibility, and self-respect, health, and safety. The school now accepts children ages 2-6, or first grade (on drop-in basis) providing space is available.
As a non-profit Christian School we are committed to providing the best education possible to students in grades K-8. Because we operate strictly through tuition and local church giving it is often difficult to provide for the needs of students who may not be able to afford the total cost of tuition.
