I was first introduced to Pilates while living in Yokohama, Japan with my husband and four children. After our family then moved to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, I decided to train to become an instructor so I could help others benefit from this 'intelligent exercise' program. I became a certified Stott Pilates instructor in 2007 and worked for 4 years at Pilatique, the first Stott Pilates licensing center in Malaysia.

Pilates is a low-to-no impact system of movements that strengthens your core and provides tension-free and balanced exercise for your whole body. HIIT involves low to moderate intensity intervals alternated with high intensity intervals. This type of training leads to increased fat loss as well as improved aerobic and anaerobic levels.
I love working out with Shawn. I get the individualized attention I need and never have to worry that I'm doing an exercise incorrectly, like I do in big classes. She will tailor the workout to meet your needs and can work around injuries. The studio is beautiful and clean. Shawn is flexible about scheduling and offers some great packages.
