In 1996, Mitch Rotolo opened the first Rotolo's Pizzeria in Baton Rouge, Louisiana just a pizza throw away from Louisiana State Unviersity. Through the will and loyalty of Rotolo's customers, the casual Italian restaurant has since grown into a successful franchise with locations across the south and many more in the works! Rotolo's is proud to continue to live up to its long-standing reputation for providing fresh ingredients and friendly service, because that's just the way we Rotolo!
Services
At Rotolo's, serving the community goes way beyond great Italian food. We're dedicated to staying involved, and giving back to each community that's given so much to us. Have a worthwhile fundraising opportunity or community event? 10 - 20%, depending on location, of all associated sales will be donated!

Great pizza and great music, love the casual atmosphere. Been coming here for several years. We like to have fun with the wait staff and make jokes. But not today. It started when the waiter/bartender spilled water on my wife's jean shorts. She said that's Ok since I needed a shower anyway. It was freaking joke!!!!. After the check was presented, the waiter/bartender told us, it was his last day and that he did not appreciate how we degraded and abused him. He complained about how older customers did not treat him well and that he did not make a lot of money. He went "postal" on us. It was scary

Do not go here if you want you meal to show up timely. the waitress brought us water and took our appetizer order. 30 minutes later flagged down waitress, asked about appetizer, it's coming. 30 more minutes… went to the front desk and asked again still nothing. She never came to the table to check on our drinks. The restaurant had 5 tables occupied and she was only taking care of 2. This used to be a favorite place for us, but this is the 2nd visit with similar outcomes.

Until they get their issue fixed in the kitchen I will not be back. Went Sunday to pick up my order and I was told it would be ready and still had to wait an additional 10 minutes. It was Super Bowl Sunday so… didn’t think anything of it. Went last night and had to wait an additional 20 minutes for my order. There was only two servers working who were great but you could tell there was issues going on in the kitchen.

Love this little pizza joint. Looks really clean and new inside. Has an outside patio seating as well. Definitely had a Louisiana/Cajun vibe going on, probably originated there I'm guessing. Decent selection of craft beers. My bartender, Austin, was a super chill guy.
Best part was they have Pint Nights where local brewers bring their new beers, and when you buy one they give you company's glass, as well as some other goodies (stickers, koozies, etc.)
Definitely check it out and get "the krewe" calzone, it was amazing!

I don't want to drag this place, but it's not very good. It's okay, like grocery store pizza is okay. The sauce is not very tasty, the dough is not very tasty, the cheese is not very tasty. It's definitely not Neapolitan style -- it's just pizza.
We ordered a thin crust Garden Alfredo (subbed marinara for alfredo) and a hand-tossed Vin Monster. I definitely recommend choosing a pizza with meat just so you get some flavor. There isn't much difference between the thin crust and the hand-tossed.
Their draft beer list is long, with a lot of lighter beers. They will let you taste before you choose
