The food was ok. The service was terrible. Waited a long time for the waitress to great come and get our drink order. The chef was told we had a birthday in our group but never acknowledged it. Put an 18% tip on our check and didn't ask us or tell us they were going to do so.
We usually tip in the 20-30% range because we know that servers had had it rough this year.

*Had reservations for 7:30pm
*Wasn't sat until 8:00pm
*Was told the cook was on the way.
*Was then told by staff the cook was going to be 30 minutes.
*Agreed with our party that we were leaving.
*But not before you pay! For your sodas, side salads, and clear soup that didn't come in until 20 minutes after being seated!
* I had to leave and rush to find our birthday girl a different place for her birthday dinner while they held everyone else over 20 or so extra minutes.
*Not to mention not honoring military discounts which they offered "all of a sudden it's only on Tuesdays.

It maybe because I am from out of town.. but I just found it strange that all the waitresses/waiters weren't wearing masks.. and even customers were freely walking around amongst other customers without a mask.. food was fine just felt off putting considering the current pandemic and yet they seem so lax on their restrictions here.

Waited for 2 hours for cook to arrive reservations were for 7p .Wittnessed 3 separate families arriving 15 to 30 minutes after we were seated enjoying supper. The group seated 5 minutes before our party finished eating and departed b4 our group ever saw our chef. Two separate request to speak with manager ignored. My group stayed and ate over 2 hours past reservation time .Me being the impatient type left after 1 hr 40 minutes of waiting and ate a ham sandwich for supper.I have been a Shotgun customer since they opened and dined there 100 plus times

I definitely prefer this location (Bossier City) over the one in Shreveport. In my opinion and experience, the chef’s in Bossier are more friendly, entertaining, and memorable. This particular night I brought my 2 sister’s and my niece for their first time and they LOVED IT. I ordered #3 which is the Teriyaki Steak.

So I was super excited to eat here because I use to love this place. But they've gone down as far as customer service. When I walked in they had on the board spring rolls.Anyone who knows Japanese food knows there's a difference between spring and egg rolls. So before I got my pickup order, I asked the man to add two orders of spring rolls. He then told the people to drop two orders of egg rolls and I said no spring rolls and he said spring roll egg roll same thing..... except it's not. So I said no it's vegetable and he said do y'all have vegetable egg rolls and the people

Shogun on E. Texas Street was such a fun time. Took my wife and two kids there the other day and we really liked how the restaurant was setup. Several different rooms fitted with grills and seating for a small personalized feeling. We were sat quickly and the room and equipment were very clean. The server that took our drink orders was friendly and told some really funny jokes, great personality! She even made our little girl a custom pink sprite with a pink tiny umbrella in it. The chef was outgoing, personable, and very skilled.

This place is usually decent. However, money was wasted tonight. The host greeted is with a mouth full of food and held his hand in front of his mouth to finish eating whine standing in front of us. The waitress told us she may be slow because she had a big party in another room. Ordered edamame and got the smallest portion I have ever seen in my life. Less than 20 total beans. Finally brought ticket and she kept hovering Toby to hurry is up and I finally asked if she needed the pen and she said yes. Will not be going back.

I wanted so badly to like this restaurant because who doesn't like hibachi?! Unfortunately this restaurant did not cut it. We went for lunch during the week and there was no one else there except us. Service was very slow which was annoying but not a deal breaker. The food was ok and the beef was a over cooked than what I asked for (I wanted medium rare, I got medium well) and the taste of the beef was ok. I enjoyed the sauces, rice, salad, and the abundance of vegetables.
The reason I'm giving 3 stars was because of the lack of cleanliness, pace of service, and over cooked beef. In

This restaurant was awesome ! I hosted my boyfriend's surprise dinner and the staff was great ! Then food was beyond everyone's expectation . I ordered the chicken teriyaki and it was perfection as I knew it would be . The staff was extremely friendly and put on a great show. As far as appearance it may look a little "non fancy " but you can't judge a book by its cover QUALITY is everything . Thank you all again for helping me pull this off !!! FIVE STARS FROM ME and my party of 26

It's not about the food, it's about the entertainment! In a room full of family and friends, the chef cooks, jokes and loudly entertains the crowd as he cooks the shrimp, steak , chicken and vegetables in your lap. Not the best Japanese food, but not bad as a " special" group dinner. You will not leave hungry. The basic chicken based meal is priced reasonably but as the menu adds seafood and steak the prices become overly inflated for dishes that will not impress . Enjoy your group and the entertainment.

Okay at best. WAY overpriced for the quality of product. The vegetables were of poor quality and really just brought down the entirety of the stir fry. I ordered the fish and chicken and both my salmon and chicken were very dry. The best part of the whole meal was the Yam Yam roll which was very good but not put together in a very visually appealing way. In terms of hibachi, there's better choices in Shreveport and in terms of sushi there's better choices in Bossier. I definitely wouldn't probably come here again, just seemed kind of blah, not the cleanest. The service was good though
