At Tennyson Pediatric Dentistry, you can be confident in the dental office you have chosen for your child! From your first visit, we want you to feel welcomed and well cared for. Our dentists and staff promote preventative dental care including a healthy diet and great oral hygiene at every visit. Because of this, we love to have parents with their child during their first visit.
Tennyson Pediatric Dentistry focuses on prevention of dental problems by educating families about great oral hygiene and a healthy diet. The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) recommends children start seeing the dentist when the first tooth appears or around age one, whichever comes first.
Tennyson Pediatric Dentistry is a participating provider for a variety of PPO insurance plans, as well as Medicaid, and CHP+. Our office does our best to provide you with an estimate of insurance coverage for your child's dental appointment. In order to provide this estimate, we request that you provide us with your insurance information at least 48 business hours prior to your child's appointment.
I can't say enough about the wonderful experience my almost-two-year-old daughter had with Dr. Snavely. My little girl had to get a tooth taken out due to a large fracture. Dr. Snavely walked me through all the options for the tooth and got that thing out in less than a minute! My daughter did not seem fazed at all after the procedure and even waved "bye-bye dentist" on our way out.
The American Academy of Pediatrics, The American Dental Association, and The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry all recommend establishing a "Dental Home" for your child by one year of age. Children who have a dental home are more likely to receive appropriate preventive and routine oral health care.

I have been taking my three kids to Tennyson Pediatric since they were tiny, and they have been awesome! They are wonderful at what they do, professional, accommodating, and they coordinate with orthodontists in the neighborhood. They are totally worth any wait and most of the time if I put the kids on a "call if there is a cancelled appointment," list, we get in pretty quickly.

This has been a wonderful place to introduce my daughter to the dentist. The staff is kind and caring. They take time to help your child feel comfortable and answer questions. They are usually on-schedule, but the one time they were running behind they gave us a $5 gift card to the coffee shop down the street! Highly recommend!

We've worked with both Dr. Kelsey and Dr. Tim. Regarding my own kids I've been incredibly happy with the manners of all of the staff. They've been highly supportive and generous with their time in answering questions and explaining options. My kids have done great there and are not afraid if the dentist.
From a business to business standpoint, I refer a large number of newborns here for tongue and lip tie evaluations. Dr. Kelsey is conservative in her approach and is very honest with parents about what she sees. I've had very positive feedback from clients who have seen her as well.

Bring my daughter here every six months, and the front desk is always so pleasant and professional. The dental assistants and doctors are always so informative and helpful, and never make my daughter feel uncomfortable or force her to do anything that scares her (she’s only 2 years old). Also very clean and they have toys/coloring/cartoons for the kids. Will definitely recommend to my mommy friends.

By far my favorite pediatric dentistry. The dental assistants walk children through every step of their visit making it a fun and enjoyable one every time. My kids actually like going to the dentist! The office is modern, extremely clean, and decorated with children in mind. Dr. Tim is extremely personable and knowledgeable. My 3 year old had to have some pretty extensive dental work at Children’s, and we came to Tennyson seeking a second opinion. Had out first appointment today, and can't thanks the staff enough. I got dates confused and took time out of work/rearranged daycare to bring my little guy, so I was super bummed. The staff juggled and were able to fit us in, on the fly, and made us feel so welcomed! My toddler clearly felt comfortable and I feel like we're off to a great start with low-pressure, high-quality care. Thanks!

I cannot say enough great things about this practice! My kids LOVE going to the dentist! Their staff are so kind and patient with my girls, they put them completely at ease from start to finish. Dr. Tim is friendly, knowledgeable and always takes the time to talk to my kids and we are always given all the information and feedback we need to help keep our kids teeth healthy.
