My visit to Dental Elements was prompted by an extreme tooth ache that began during a recent coach tour of the Western National Parks. A Google search directed me to Dental Elements in Denver. The coach arrived in Denver late afternoon and I was so relieved to hear them say they could see me in the short one hour window at the end of their busy day.

I had a long overdue deep cleaning, root canal/crown, AND fillings within a month. Dr. Thurman, Morgan, Kathy and staff were very attentive and kind with not ONLY the procedures and explanations but with checking up on me after the root canal. Also great at helping me figure out my insurance coverage and payments. Dental Elements is GREAT.

After years of poor teeth health, I knew I had to make a drastic change. I had so many dentists who had an opinion on what I should do and every recommendation felt like it was a quick fix or money-driven and not connected to what I needed as a patient and human.
Dr. Thurman was the first doctor that actually took the time to explain my options, created a multi-year plan and alternatives, never rushed me and even stayed with me after hours for an in-depth overview.

Do not go here - they are scamming people! Went to my first consultation back in may and they told me I have seven cavities and should consider braces. Told me it would be expensive and I should set up a payment plan. I thought it seemed fishy so I got a second opinion from my dentist at home in Kansas and they confirmed I have ZERO cavities and do not need braces - saved me thousands of dollars from these scammers! I've had a friend get ripped off by dental elements too - they are only in the business of making money and not looking out for your best interest. Be ware of their reviews, they

The facility is so cool, it even has a meeting room for chatting about your dental options.

Just really impressed with the entire Dental Elements team and the experience as a whole. Honestly everything was beyond expectation--from the friendly and knowledgeable staff, to scheduling, the actual dental procedures, even the initial check-in and registration process was pretty seamless. I think a lot of it has to do with how efficient and tech-oriented the organization is. Petty much everything is paperless, and come on...Who doesn't love catching up on a Netflix binge while getting you're teeth cleaned.

BEWARE: they offer discounts for good reviews!
Not pleased with this place. It's expensive, and they pushed me into being uncomfortable, and paying them more money.
I can forgive being in PAIN when they did work on me. But the dentist was impatient even though i was cringing and upset. Bedside manner was minimal. I felt like he hated me.
Laughing gas wasn't enough. Needed more. I was very awake and alert and in pain as they fixed my cavities. The Novocaine didn't work well.
PS: the dental ASSISTANTS there are great. I liked them.
The most painful cavity filling came loose.

I went to Dental Elements based on location and it being an authorized provider by my insurance. I went a couple of times and stopped because while the office is nice and the staff is nice, there are a few red flags at Dental Elements.
(1) Costs/ payments: they require you to pay an estimated up front payment and keep a credit card on file. I'm not sure if this is a Denver thing, but patients should never pay an estimated amount before services are rendered. When I questioned this I was told doctors do it all the time but if I was uncomfortable I could cancel my appointment and pay a cancellation

Had my first exam and cleaning today - place was amazing! Dr. Thurman and his staff were extremely nice, careful, and wonderful at their job. Very clean establishment with all state of the art equipment. Even better, conveniently located just inside downtown but not far from the highway so coming from either north or south Denver, it's easy to get to right off of 25.
I highly recommend for anyone looking for a dentist in Denver!

This dentist I would say is the best Dentists I have every been to I had to have an emergency crown I had to have a CRNA come in to put me under as my tooth was cracked It was a great experience! I little pricey, but whatever! they accommodated me as I was only here a couple days. I'm very happy! Everyone of the staff here were top of the line folks! We are moving to Denver from Oakland and this is going to be our new dentist

I came to this office because I walk by often and it looks very clean and modern, which is important to me. I feel that, at least to a point, the aesthetic of an office can reflect the care that is put into a practice. Dr. Thurman and all of his staff are extremely knowledgeable and professional, while also being relatable and fun to talk to. The office does employ the latest and greatest technology/techniques (Dr. Thurman really geeks out on this stuff!) and they will make every effort to ensure you understand any work needed on your teeth.
