Dr. Michael DeWitt started DeWitt Dental Associates in 1986 and has been serving the Cherry Creek and Denver communities ever since. He is a Colorado native and attended Cherry Creek High School, received his B.A. at the University of Colorado in Boulder, his M.A. at Pepperdine University in Clinical Psychology, and his D.D.S. at the University of Colorado Dental School.

Jane graduated from the University of Colorado Dental School in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. She began practicing in 1985 in Denver, CO. In 1987 she joined the practice of Dr. Michael DeWitt. When not at work, Jane enjoys spending time with her husband Tony and 2 children, Maria and Anthony.

While visiting Denver from out-of-state, I lost a filling on Christmas Eve day. I called Dr Dewitt’s office at the recommendation of a Denver relative. The friendly receptionist asked if I thought I needed to be seen immediately. Since I felt I could wait until after Christmas, but would like to be seen as soon as possible, Dr Dewitt fit me into his busy schedule 2 days later! He accessed my problem and resolved it very quickly. I highly recommend him, his Hygentist and entire office team!

Dr.DeWitt is, and I say this in all sincerity, the best dentist I’ve been to in my life. I had a broken crown (he didn’t do the first one) and some decay in the tooth behind it drilled and filled. I normally would’ve had sweaty palms and a heart rate like a race horse the entire time but he truly puts patient comfort first and takes pride in his work. I didn’t even feel the numbing shots. They make the crowns on site so it was only about 30 mins from prepping the tooth to new crown done, all without an impeding feeling of doom. He took the time to explain what and why he was doing things

I had a broken molar that needed a quick repair before I could get a crown. Half the tooth was broken off on the tongue side of my mouth leaving a jagged edge from the silver filling which was rubbing the underside of my tongue raw.
I didn't have any numbing done and the doctor did an incredible job removing the silver filling and sculpting the necessary material to temporarily rebuild the tooth until a crown was manufactured. It was virtually painless and it took less than an hour. WoW!! I was impressed and I can say this office is very professional and experienced. Thank you so much. You all

You can’t do better than Dr. DeWitt. I have been a patient of Dr. DeWitt’s for many years. I was referred to him by a good friend of mine who has had painful dental problems for most of his adult life. He assured me Dr. DeWitt is the best at making his patients comfortable and not be in pain during any procedure. He was right.
I believe that Dr. DeWitt is genuinely concerned about my dental health and well being. He has, more than once, fit me into his schedule at the last minute to take care of an unexpected problem.

Dr. DeWitt is such a wonderful dentist! I had my first root canal here and I was really nervous. Turns out there was nothing to worry about. The experience was top notch; from the front desk to the dental assistant to the doctor. The dental work was painless, upscale, and efficient. I would definitely recommend this office and Dr. DeWitt.

Guess what guys? I got hit with a $500 today, SIX MONTHS after my last procedure with them. They really could care less about you or communicating with you. I filed a complaint because I cannot believe months later this bill comes out of nowhere and they never bothered to let me know. I was actually the one to call them first and then they said...oh by the way you owe us $500. Get yourself a dentist office that has competent staff that don't screw you over. I don't know the owner, Michael DeWitt but seems like he is in it for the

Been seeing Dr. DeWitt for probably 20 years and he has always been kinf, professional, and honest. I have several crowns he placed in 2003 that are fine. A couple times I had to see another dentist in the office and that was unpleasant. Also, my long-time hygienist left the practice which was disappointing, but Dr. DeWitt has been great.

Until recently I had been seeing DeWitt and Associates for nearly 3 years. I recently switched dentists and can not believe what I discovered; my new dentist pointed out that my bite is way off and because of it I will need multiple crowns after my 2 years of braces that I will need as well. I asked my dentist at DeWitt at least 3 times if I needed to see an orthodontist and was always told no. These people are money grubbing and provide poor care. My ex had an extremely awful experience with them which is what prompted me to see another dentist. My new dentist was shocked and extremely concerned

Had a very positive experience at DeWitt Dental. I have a lot of anxiety around dentistry, but the staff was very patient and kind. They took the time to explain their concerns. The receptionist was also very friendly and helpful. Not for me, but someone else came in and said they didn't know their insurer, and with limited information, she worked with them to figure everything out. My hygienist (I think her name was Jane) was very sweet and gentle.

I really cannot recommend this practice.
From initial scheduling to many trips back and forth it was a bad experience.
My crown done by DeWitt himself was bad. I went to another dentist who told me it would need replaced (6 months old) because the margins were off and it didn't fit- it was either replace it or wait for it to rot away and then a root canal.
They have same day crowns but try telling that to the to the receptionist to get your appointment booked properly. There also seems to be a learning curve here with how to do them.
I went back to have the botched crown replaced by another

Dr. DeWitt and his staff are amazing. For someone like myself who isn't a fan of the dentist, this team makes you feel as comfortable as possible and take their time to review all dental options and again, make you feel as informed as possible and without judgement, making you feel comfortable the entire time. They also work closely with you if you do not have proper insurance coverage. And to top that - Dr. DeWitt is just a great guy! Highly recommended!

I have always been an easy going patient when it comes to dentistry. It was time for me to replace my totally cosmetic dental work with new and I looked to Dr. De Witt. I've had this cosmetic procedure done four times now but this was the first time I was ever anesthetized. You shouldn't need it if it is cosmetic. Hell, I had a root canal without any anesthesia!! Anyway, after the anesthesia wore off my mouth hurt so much. It was still hurting three days later so I went back to see Dr. De Witt. He was not sympathetic and indicated it would stop hurting soon and I could try aspirin. I

My friend urged me to see Dr. Dewitt after my previous dentist gave me a filling that turned into an oral nightmare for a year. Turns out that filling was deep, the root was abscessed and infected and I needed a root canal. Dr. Dewitt got me in that day because of the level of pain I was experiencing. I left his office more comfortable than I had been in a year. He has an incredible chair side manner, was confident, patient, and respectful. The procedure took two visits so far because of the infection and I'll be back for a third to get the crown but so far, so good with Dr. Dewitt.

Dewitt Dental is okay--but barely. I've seen them twice for cleanings and left both times with a mouth that felt far less clean and fresh than it should be.
They didn't polish my teeth after they cleaned them, so I left with a gooey, plaque scraper taste in my mouth. On top of that, they tried to sell me slew of products--toothpaste, a new $125.00 sound wave toothbrush (I already own one but "it is getting old"), fluoride rinse, and so on.
I've had fewer than three cavities in over thirty years, and have been seeing dentists in one of the most successful practices

I just got back from getting my bi-yearly teeth cleaning. I don't live or work near my old dentist so I decided to try Dr. Dewitt's office.
My dental hygentist / assistant was a very nice girl named Shanna. She was thorough, gentle, not pushy with the produces, and had a great chairside manner.
Dr. Dewitt gets 3 stars because he has zero chairside manner but he was quick and effiecent. He seems like he is a good doctor and knows what he is doing.
The office is nothing impressive which was a little surprising given the neighborhood. But the entire staff that I did meet was nice
