Dr. Smith, Dr. McElroy, Jeanie, and the entire staff are amazing folks. We adopted a senior dog, and AVH helped us take great care of her. They are very responsive to emails, flexible with appointments, and fill prescriptions quickly. They explain things in a way that's easy to understand and offer information on various treatment options. When it was time to let Dobby go, Dr. McElroy was so compassionate and patient with my questions and feelings of uncertainty. They handled the cremation arrangements, got a paw print, and sent a very nice condolence card. All of my future pets will go to AVH

Our 10 year old 150lb English Mastiff had gotten sick on April 20th. He was blind but, between me & my son we managed to help him get in & out. On that day he had cried out & then after he could not walk. My son & 2 more ppl did get him in the car. & quickly rushed him to Auburn. The staff at Auburn could not have been more professional & knowledgeable on what had happened to our Buck. They explained what options my son had & explained in detail their prognosis. We had to make that decision to let him go. It was the hardest decision we've ever had to make. The staff was wonderful & we highly recommend

My sweet HENRI – my precious friend who came to me from Jesus rest in peace. He was certainly not treated well in the last year of his life by the only vet that saw him, Mary Smith, DVM. He was my constant companion, like my own child. He had a 30 word vocab and responded appropriately to all of them. He was the most responsive canine I’ve ever had and I’ve probably had 16 dogs in my life. He was tuned into my every breath, heartbeat, emotion. He could bring my blood pressure down in 2 to 3 minutes. He went through 10 years of rough life and times with myself and my special needs son ...and
