I took my dog in for an apparent ear infection. That's all. Didn't need any shots, nothing else. They brought the estimate out to me--$884!!!!! A whole bunch of extras added on! When I told them I couldn't afford that, they "chiseled " it down to $440. Wow. For an ear infection. All he got was a shot, some pills, some ear wash. You can take a child to a pediatrician for an ear infection and not pay even close to that. Plus, they charged me another $20 for a 2-week recheck. Some doctors include the folow-up in the initial charges. I've had this experience before when I took my pets in just for shots
