Harry's is lovingly named for family patriarch and Montreal Beach Resort hotel founder Harry Hirsch. Although many associate Harry's history with the hotel side of the business, most people don't know that Harry also had a real passion for cooking and the restaurant.
Harry's Ocean Bar & Grille is currently open Wednesday - Sunday (closed Monday and Tuesday). All seating this season is first come, first served. Came for lunch on a dreary, rainy day. It was our first stop on our trip here and it did not disappoint! We were promptly seated on the (covered) patio. Husband had shrimp tacos, which went down very quick. Ordered a burger with avocado and it hit the spot. The side order of fries also are huge, literally served in a pot. My only complaint is that I ordered a Sauvignon Blanc but got a glass of Chardonnay.

A great spot for lunch after the beach. Lovely table in bar area with a/c or 20 minute wait for outside. Our server was fantastic even though she was tending bar. Shrimp tacos were excellent and the burger was one of the best. Large selection of beers. Always stop here when visiting. Would highly recommend!

This place is awesome! We decided to go for breakfast with our three kids and loved the seating, the atmosphere and the food was amazing! Not only was the food amazing, but they give you a ton of it. While we were on the beach during the day looking up a place to go out without the kids that night we were looking up seafood restaurants and Harry's was the top-rated. (kids are allowed up there though). We thought it was a little silly to go back to the same place but given the Rooftop Bar in the live music we ended up going back. Again, we were not disappointed at all! The Seafood was so good and

I had higher hopes for tonights dinner. As an appetizer we ordered the crab, spinach, and artichoke dip. It was a very large portion of dip paired with only 9 pieces of toasted bread. We had to take extra large scoops of dip to make sure we didn't run out of bread; very little flavor or sign of crab to be found either. For dinner we ordered the fish and chips. The breading was literally dripping with oil and falling off of the fish. This oil also ended up soaking the pile of fries that the fish was placed upon.
