Beware of this thief! I just paid $300 for the most exquisite hair quality extensions while Kim charged me $1000 !!! (One thousand!) And they were bad quality extensions! Ughhh

OMG! I went there to be blonder and they turned me into a pumpkin! I was literally orange and then yellow like a chick! I was so angry and disappointed especially on the denial of the staff and owner! They burned my scalp and I left with an awful color!! Totally unprofessional

Paid $185 to get my hair dyed back to my original color black, even though on the phone I was told the worst thing I can do to fix my colored hair is go back to its original color. Excellent customer service but this place is a bit pricey.

Kim is a “hair extension nazzi” . If after she is done putting your extensions you call her the next day and request a couple extensions here and there to be fixed and put in a more appropriate/comfortable place ( and of course you paying for this extra time as it is understandable) she would fix it perfect, you leave happy..and then you receive a text from her saying she is “taking you off of her books”, reason why: she is just not happy. It doesn’t matter how nice and professional you are to her or how well you tip her.. she won’t be happy if you request something to be fixed more

Roseanne is the best for body waxing. I've been a loyal customer for 15 years! Shes the best! The shop is very clean and adheres to Covid guidelines. 😷

Anna is amazing !!!! She's such hair colorist . I usually come out orange or yellow with other stylists ... but with her it came out perfect !!! Very cute place in historial Hollywood downtown. Nice and clean .

I came to Hair Industry on the recommendation of a friend who used to live in Hollywood. I normally would not go to someone who had never done my hair, especially on vacation. I decided to give Hair Industry a try. It's only my hair . Asya did an amazing job. She worked for years in NYCand it was really evident in her knowledge of curly hair (who even knew people specialized in that?) color and also in the cut she gave. I was thoroughly impressed. The next time I am in Hollywood, I will be back.

I would definitely NOT recommend this salon. I had a horrible experience with Hannah -- the one they assigned me to for my haircut. I believe she might be on drugs. My hair was cut SO short in the back it was like a man's haircut. I specifically told this person NOT to cut my hair short and she proceeded anyway to keep cutting. Her name is Hannah she isn't even listed on their website.

How upsetting this experience was, mind you met with her and spoke about what I WANTED AND DID NOT WANT. Guess she really didn't pay me any mind. And the blow dry, what I got was no where near

So happy to have found a great salon after moving to Hollywood. The worst part of moving, other than the unpacking, is finding someone I trust to color and style my hair. I found that someone in Hannah! She figured out my hair type and suggested a style that would work great fir me. I only intended to get a trim, but I'm very happy with the color and the cut!

The salon is busy, but everyone seemed relaxed and so friendly. All the stylists seemed great and all the clients seemed happy with their services. I walked out feeling great and I look forward to my visits in the future. I highly

I was desperately in need of a new look and Mindy did the most fantastic job cutting my short hair today!! My husband and son loved it too! She gave me a,great product so I may be able to toss my blow dryer once and for all. Thank you Mindy. Always a fantastic cut! The shop is nice and its a happy place. Cant wait to go back. I found this salon by doing a search for hair salons in Hollywood. Full disclosure I have trust issues with hair stylist since mine moved out of the state and the last one got scissor happy. I had let my hair grow and got stuck in the same routine of wearing a pony tail or bun. So walking in the receptionist was very courteous, the energy was good and the salon was modern and clean. I just moved to Hollywood from Seattle so I was looking for a new salon. We ladies know how hard it is to find a new stylist! Such an AWESOME place!! It started with Tiffany, who was so helpful over the phone!! It was because of her that I knew right away that I had found the right hair salon! Then, when I went in for a quick consultation, Mindy the owner, helped me right away! Mindy also colored and cut my hair later in the day and was so professional and did such an amazing job! If I am not satisfied with anything they immediately make changes or insist that I return until my hair is as I would like it to be. As a customer I feel as though I am part of a family whose main goal is to make me happy. The entire staff is composed of professionals who excel in all areas hair; cutting, color
and up to the minute styles. The environment is always comfortable and upbeat.

My entire family are Hair Industry clients.
We all have our special go to hairdresser, but I have used probably every stylist on an occasion or two.
That's what's great about Hair Industry, no matter who you use the results are spectacular.
No drama here., they work as a family, extremely professional and talented.

LOVE this salon!!! Staff is extremely professional and knowledgable in regards to color and extensions, which is hard to find. The salon atmosphere is great as well it is a relaxed environment which makes me feel comfortable as a valued customer!

PETER IS THE BEST! I started styling my hair with Peter and ever since it has never been so healthy and well treated. He is very funny yet professional, easy to talk to and understands clients and hair perfectly. Also he's very good at damage control. The salon is very nice too, friendly staff and minimalist design.

Great color , great cut everyone is very nice and friendly but be aware that they tack on services/ products conversationally, if you are not savvy you can walk out of there with a $170 + bill, wondering if you could have gotten more for your money at a comparable salon.

After having a few stylists give me tame, tepid, un-edgy hairstyles, after repeatedly asking (with pictures!) for a "pixie faux-hawk," and coning home with wash-n-sets, I finally found Mindy at Hair Industry. They fit me in the day after I called, as I said I needed a fix from a bad haircut I rec'd two days before. It was a very matronly, short haircut, even though I went it with pics of edgy, undercut styles.

I got my haircut here recently with Sophie. She gave me a cut that was exactly what I wanted (long layers) and a fantastic blow-out. The place has a cool, edgy, laid back vibe. I was surprised to learn it had been open for so long because I had been trying to find a place to cut my hair before and never found it. Ended up going down the street to an Aveda salon but wasn't totally sold on it. Anyways Sophie was cool, the price was reasonable ($65), and my cut look good even if I don't blow dry my hair. I would definitely go back here.

Kim is an amazing stylist. I have hair that looks easy to cut, but isn't. I'm super picky. I drive an hour to come here every 6 weeks.

Salon is no frills and everyone is very friendly.
